Ever the hustler, Nicki Minaj pulled away from work on her third studio album two days ago, to embark on her US promotional tour for her brand new fragrance ‘Minajesty‘.
During that tour, she caught up with folks over at E! to dish on a number of hot topics. Three of which, being her upcoming role in the Cameron Diaz led ‘The Other Woman’, why she loves but doesn’t miss ‘American Idol’ and the creative space she’s entered to craft her third studio album.

Indeed, with ‘Beez In The Trap’ surpassing sales of half a million units months ago and earning itself a Gold certification, it’s very apparent that the casual listener is very much into ‘Urban Nicki’ when her ‘Urban’ numbers are promoted effectively.
For, while ‘Automatic’ and ‘Starships‘ are just as authentic as ‘Catch Me‘ and ‘Leader’ are to the Rapper, there’s n doubt fans are hoping she leans more towards the latter when forging the new project.
Our hope, is that time in with the likes of Pharrell will see her forge numbers akin to ‘Get Like Me‘, ‘Tap Out‘, ‘Hey Lover‘ and ‘Va Va Voom‘, and see them soar to chart glory with music videos and the physical promotion she employed for so many of ‘Pink Friday‘s singles.
…and, as to ensure those singles do what they need to for their supporting albums, ink a Clear Channel deal to dominate airwaves and enlist the likes of Seo Hyun Seung and Hype Williams, to create videos worthy of her position at the top.

I am here for the third album, I think she is going to serve up something really great this era… She had her time to figure herself out on PFRR, but I think it’s time to show the doubters her skills. I don’t think she’ll do nearly as many pop records this go around.
