As well as claiming the record for being the fastest selling tour of 2013 at Vector Arena, the Mrs Carter show has set a new record for the highest audience attendance at Vector Arena by a solo artist.
Beyonce attracted 44,596 ticket buying fans from around New Zealand across the four nights she performed.
The previous venue record was held by Roger Waters, with 40,348 tickets sold for the The Wall tour in 2012.
“The shows were beyond stunning and our heartfelt appreciation goes out to Queen Bey, her band, dancers and indefatigable crew, and to the fantastic New Zealand audiences that came along all week and kept the city buzzing,” said Michael Coppel, President and CEO of promoter Live Nation Australasia.
Mr Coppel said Auckland delivered the same level of ticket sales as Melbourne and surpassed Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth for tour ticket sales.
