I don´t care if people thumb me down but I´m tired of that absurd argument of Gaga having a big budget and not performing that well. Katy Perry´s and Milye´s promos have been as big as Gaga´s for f**** sake!! And they are selling only slightly better album wise (Katy Perry) and even less than Gaga (Milye). It´s shocking that Gaga´s “flop” album has already surpassed Milye´s album sales worldwide. I mean, if there´s one underperforming artist this year that is Milye Cyrus. Body Party was pure R&B for 2013, And it baffles me to see two white artist at the top of the list as if they didn’t receive any help from the black community to reach these feats as even having an R&B title. The black community accepts JT and RT because they do both have soul and they are black people inside, lol so it is no shade.
Its not a race thing, But it becomes one when the GP recognizes more white people for R&B instead of the people from whence the genre actually derived from. I commend true R&B artist for keeping the genre alive, but they need to step it up like a thousand notches!!!
The Rhythm and Blues old souls are rolling in their graves at these R&B and HipHop lists hunny!!
Anyway, 2013 gave Ciara what she needed to launch her career into higher heights!!
