After his current role on VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop’ revived interest in his ‘Da Yard Father‘-fuelled career, Rapper Saigon has shared his thoughts on the presence of gay love in the aforementioned genre.

Yes, in an interview with the tastemaker that is DJ Vlad, the performer expressed his distaste at the supposed agenda to make one’s sexuality a part of an artist’s creative package, and why he believes that homosexuals are more interested in sex than they are love.

    Retarded.

  2. EMPRESS WHITNEY January 27, 2014

Oh STFU you ugly-ass closet case.

Why TF are you so concerned about the state of Gay affairs? WTF do you know?

    Boy, BYE!!!

  3. Common Sense January 27, 2014

That’s funny, last time I checked Merriam Webster defines homosexuality as simply: The attraction to the same gender. Speaking of “creative packages” why do 90% of rapper’s songs consist of f****** b****** and contain nothing but naked women in their videos? Macklemore’s video for “Same Love” contained a beautiful wedding nothing even remotely sexual.
In short, this whole thing boils down to this rapper not having a clue about homosexuality and almost assuredly not a clue about that (diamond) cross he hangs on his neck.

S** holds at very current play in the life of a Gay man, especially in his youth but it’s not because they’re Gay, it’s because they’re men, s** it’s on our mind 24/7, even the weirdest thing can turn you on, we wake up with an e******* and if is not for men, s** wouldn’t be as enjoyable as it is, holes are finding everywhere, it’s not that special, however, a dic** is a dic**, it comes in all forms, sizes, thickness & colors, all hail the dic**. Straight guys wouldn’t have as much s** if it wasn’t for Gay boys and Gay boys wouldn’t have as much s** if it wasn’t for straight guys, when a straight guy can’t get a girl, his best friend in the closet, is the solution, every man gets his wish, gay men makes them come true, they will live for you, only to be on their knees pleasing you whenever you want, even if you treat them like s***, they are here for it, it’s all between men, women are more visuals when it comes to s**, men are more practice.

    Most rappers are gay Anyway.

  6. *ℙᏫℙ ℝᏫᎩAℒᎿᎩ* January 27, 2014

    @S******:

Speaking from a Straight guy perspective, I think Women Offer More To me than men.

Personally i’m Not here for a Guy’s Smelly ass or a D***, I already have one!

  7. kasha January 27, 2014

Why why why? its always a dl obvious rapper battling his inner feelings saying some s***. Girl let your hair down and stop coming for the next person.

  8. Greg January 27, 2014

UMM, WTF, Have you been watching the news!?? Who are we in debt to??…lol…really????? You should just be an artist and NEVER speak on social and political issues ever again dude. Support your President and your country man and quit being a critic. The United States has its issues just like every one else but it is still one of the greatest nations in the world.

  9. 4orbidden Entertainment January 27, 2014

He sounds ignorant. All the so called straight rappers do is talk about is freaking and twisting out woman. So for a gay artist to do the same, you’re telling them that’s not okay. You sound stupid. ” I have gay friends and family.” Shut up. That’s like a white person saying, ” I have black friends” after saying something that sounded racist. Sit down Saigon. And to think that I was starting to like you.

  10. S****** Blonde January 27, 2014

    @Pop
You won’t reject me, i’m a trap for men, my charm is irresistible, don’t you dare cuz i will fly to Cairo to fight whoever is eating your pharmacist ass 🙂

  11. Emmie January 27, 2014

I just can’t with straight people talking about gay people and telling them who they are..fool how you know ? or secretly got something to share?

  12. savt1st January 27, 2014

finally, a perspective i havent heard in a while! -A straight black unfamous black man’s perspective, How refreshing, and IT WAS NOT Ignorant!

  13. Navy Commander January 27, 2014

    But what did y’all expect?

  14. MusicStan(ya’ll know who I stan for) January 27, 2014

Ignorants is Bliss People…. Back to listening to “Latch” By Disclosure feat Sam Smith

  15. Hush January 27, 2014

    @*ℙᏫℙ ℝᏫᎩAℒᎿᎩ*

ROFLMAO! Still trying, huh? Who are you kidding? You DO NOT speak from any “straight guy” perspective. lol Your queeny, dance-pop loving ass is as gay as a bag of Skittles. You’re about as “straight” as a zigzag.

  16. King January 27, 2014

But my question is: how could you know this unless you’re gay? Straight men kill me worrying more about another man’s sexuality more than their own. They aren’t sleeping with you? (I think) So why are you so pressed?

  17. shauwndapooh January 27, 2014

He should know nowadays men like him are on the dl sooo…..

  18. TRUTH SERUM January 27, 2014

@Pop… Wait a minute, the queen that spazzes out on Rihanna and Beyonce post is straight.. WTF???? Am I being p*nked

  19. Truth B Told January 27, 2014

He’s not even worth writing anything about. Because who us he a nobody trying to make a name sounding ignorant as he’ll pick up a book fool

  20. XoMoDe January 27, 2014

Pop Royalty’s straight-claims are like a running gag at this point. In between his melodramatic and flaming spasms over Rihanna, his usually female pop star avatars, he continues to oddly assert his faux-heterosexuality; knowing full well that no one here is buying any of it, but he does it anyway.

  21. Lovebird January 27, 2014

Bisexual people have the most fun, trust me.

  22. Lovebird January 27, 2014

I’m ready to drag a b**** who comes for Pop Royalty.

  23. S****** Blonde January 27, 2014

    @Lovebird
    Yes.

  24. DOSSOME January 27, 2014

Lol,s****** you are a mess…WAIT A MINUTE,when did commenting on a blog define your sexuality?what kind of blanket assumption…There isn’t much difference btwn gay and straight people aside from sexual preference, which to me is easily the only difference.

  25. GREEKGOD January 27, 2014

I was with him for a minute until he started sounding ignorant. Yes, in the Urban/Black community homosexuality is more about s** than love. Especially when it comes down to the DL. A DL boy would claim a bottom inside but act like they don’t know each other outside. I blame the society that we live in. It’s 2014 and girls (the main problem) still thinks that bi-sexual boys don’t exist. Then they want to praise gay boys for being out but can’t f*** with a hood n**** that’s bi? Then you have there homeboys who are ignorant. The perception of gay is overly fem and loud so imagine how they feel finding out now that homosexuality walks among their crew? Everybody knows gays take it up the b*** but never think about who’s the one giving it. Certainly not another flamboyant bottom. I concur with @SuicideBlonde when he said gay men have more s** because they are men. To me that’s the beauty of it. DL boys enjoy bottoms than girls. Only a boy could match another boys sexual desire. DL boys also really like getting their ass ate, but which girl is that s** positive? If our society was more accepting bottoms would have their trade boyfriends. It’s because of society why DL boys hate themselves along with other gay boys that are out.

  26. GREEKGOD January 27, 2014

“They will live for you, only to be on their knees pleasing you whenever you want, even if you treat them like s***”

SOOO TRUE! But bottoms also want a Meek Mill type n**** to do Drake things.

It’s so easy to fall for a DL boy, you just want to be the ultimate house wife for them but they only want one thing.

  27. OQRAM January 27, 2014

Pop Royalty is a wannabe RuPaul. LOL
Str8?????? Ha ha. I don’t think so boo boo!!! Come out come out wherever you are…

  28. Avi January 27, 2014

Homosexuality isn’t about s** or love, it’s about PERVERSION. It’s not normal or natural for men to lust after other men, it’s perverted, abnormal and sick. Somewhere in these guys mental development, something went very wrong. People need to stop pretending that it’s fine and well when it’s actually degenerate and warped.

In the words of Angie & Debbie Winans: “it’s not natural.”

  29. FAF January 27, 2014

Why are straight people always telling gay people what relationships are about? N**** u f***** ur baby mama and u just now “Getting to know her” sit down. How u have a baby from a 1 night stand & decide to move a b**** in ur house on LAHH.. If u aren’t gay, u don’t know s*** . sTFU

  30. TRUTH SERUM January 27, 2014

@Hatebird I wish you would. I usually don’t partake in the f$g banter but, I really don’t like you. Ques bug bunny —-> Up in pot!

  31. nobitchassness January 27, 2014

It sucks society has this image of us but lets be honest, what relationship isn’t about s**? Sure there’s s** but some of us actually want the romance, intimacy, commitment and happiness. Just like straight people, everyone is different.

It just sucks that a large majority of the gay community cannot uphold a serious relationship. There is hope for us loyal ones.

Back to Saigon… he needs to worry about his kid and the baby mama who he doesn’t like all of a sudden… his irrelevant ass is probably hiding something as he seems to know quite much.

  32. PLEASE BE SEATED January 27, 2014

    WHO IS SAIGON?? #NEXT

  33. Navy Nick January 27, 2014

WHO IS THIS IGNORANT *&^ ???!!! I am a gay Military man, married to my guy for 8yrs next mth! SIT THE HELL DOWN, with this DUMB TALK–

  34. STOP PLAYING January 27, 2014

LOL @ Pop royalty, stop playing games..lol You are as gay as Perez Hilton’s A-hole..LOL I CAN’T WITH YOUR STRUGGLE.

  35. Navy Nick January 27, 2014

U R JUST AS STUPID AS HIM!

  36. d January 27, 2014

one thing i will say is that at least he was trying to be philosophical and thoughtful on the matter. that said, not all thoughts and brains are created equal. not all thinkers are good thinkers.

  37. JER January 27, 2014

Guilty straight men. Guilty that all day they envision p**** in the face and booty on their d***. Yes we’re men too, but gay men have ALWAYS been more refinedT

  38. The Truth January 27, 2014

    Obviously uneducated.

  39. RAY January 27, 2014

Gays interested in s**? Yes, just like heterosexual men are interested in s**. But it’s defenitely also about LOVE! I’m a guy and I’m with my man for 17 years now. If that isn’t love, than what is?

  40. Ignorance must die January 27, 2014

It’s not just LUST. I love boys’ personalities. Girls are so needy, or bitchy, or precocious. You can just sit down and play video games with a guy or just enjoy each others’ company. There’s nothing wrong with it…I’ve tried liking girls, it’s impossible.

Lose the ignorance. Religion is not the preset. Not everyone is religious, you shouldn’t have to kiss someone’s b*** because they think they can interpret the Bible correctly, when they sure as hell can’t.

  41. WILL71 January 27, 2014

WOW. He sounds like a typical DL dude who has reduced homosexuality to just s**. Many DL men reduce the lifestyle to s** because they are often “low freaks” themselves. And if homosexuality is just about s**, then why are thousands getting married or fighting to get married? Last time I checked, you don’t have to be married just to have s**. Many gay people have loving, committed relationships.

  42. AmberMitchell January 27, 2014

I guess you didn’t watch the video. He was responding to a question that they asked him about what another person said. He has all the right to his opinion and his opinion wasn’t even that bad. Learn to watch before commenting.

  43. King January 27, 2014

    Yassssssssss. That’s so beautiful.

  44. Aloys234 January 28, 2014

Wow, no such this as Gay Love, u might as well say there is no
Such thing as “Love” Full Stop. Most straight men don’t even know what
Love is, unless u call cheating on ur spouse Love? More times they lonely
That’s what they feel! Saigon in my opinion is confused, why u telling the world
Ur opinion if u have never tried it, and if u have isn’t that the opinion of a bi or curious
Person who is struggling with their sexuality? Until u can fall in love with
The same s**, hold ur opinion. Further more, it will b refreshing to have some gay influenced
Music on TV, if u can’t handle it, write music about non sexual experiences / politics since only
Since ur so educated about world affairs.. Ain’t a
Damn thing wrong with being gay n in love..
