I love Iggy but these records they keep shooting are false. First off, Fancy and Problem are not her first singles. There was Work, Change Your Life, and Bounce that all came out before Fancy. Fancy is just the first one that took off, so there’s that.
Fancy and Problem are her first singles to chart on the Hot 100. Work almost broke the Hot 100 but didn’t do so until after Fancy blew up. That is where the record came from. When they mean debut singles they mean debuting on the charts.
