Jennifer Lopez‘ ‘AKA‘ may be destined for commercial failure, but today sees Lana Del Rey avoid such a fate with the release of her new video, ‘Shades of Cool.’
Released before its parent album ‘Ultraviolence‘ is set to top the Billboard 200 with a predicted first week figure of 200,000 units, the video comes courtesy of Rey and director Jake Nava and explores Rey’s love of “silver surfers”, decadence and dramatic storytelling.

I love how all these Pop singers have young male models in their videos, while Lana show us that a mature man can be atractive too, he has beautiful eyes, he looks a little bit like an old Joe Dallesandro, who is still gorgeous today as he was in his Warhol days. She looks beautiful, best video of the era. ‘Ultraviolence’ is the best female record of the year so far.

Beautiful! I love the parts in the chorus where she radiates light and the smimming scenes are so s***. She’s such an adorable dancer. Best video of the era so far and definitely in her top 5. How can anyone call her ugly after watching this? Literally one of the most pretty singers out there.
