Janet actually has a little more vocal talent than Madonna. Also Janet and Madonna’s style in music are different. During Janet’s earlier career her music resembled her brother’s which involved pop with a rhythmic blues overlay. As Janet got older her music resembled more of own style which involved more jazzy, scatting sounds. Her love for Lena Horne really began to show in her music as she began to learn and know herself more. There are many pop artists whose sound resembles Madonna’s sound but there are not many, to be more specific, I can only think of a few whose sound comes close or similar to Janet’s sound. Janet was and still is one of a kind.
