Ariana Grande has made an undeniable mark this year; and while some industry body’s have opted to look away, the Grammy committee are embracing the singer.
Moments ago, it was announced the ‘Problem’ belter will join the likes of Pharrell Williams, Maroon 5, and Tim McGraw on a special Holiday broadcast christened ‘A Very Grammy Christmas’.

Set to air on December 5th (on the evening of the same day the nominations for the 2015 Grammy’s are announced), the new show will “include performances of holiday songs and current Pop hits, as well as artists sharing their favorite holiday memories and what a Grammy nomination means to them.“

Call us Jessica Fletcher, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the line-up is hinting at some of the names who’ll feature heavily in this year’s nominations. After all, the likes of Grande and Pharrell have achieved incredible successes in 2014 – and both made the September cut-off point. What’s more, wouldn’t it be odd to tap such names for the broadcast without them bagging any noms? Stranger things have happened, but our point remains.
