Keyshia Cole has been blasted with copycat claims today, accused of imitating ‘Need a Boss’ singer Shareefa by the singer herself.

In 2006, Shareefa rocked R&B with the debut album ‘Boss‘ was pulled from, ‘Point of no Return.’

This year, her R&B sibling Keyshia Cole released an album with the same name, and it’s this fact that has the ‘Phony’ singer less than impressed with the ‘She’ siren.

She blasted her with:

It didn’t end there.

For it wasn’t long before she retweeted a message sent to her by Roc Nation artist Chase J, who hit out at Keyshia with…

Cole is yet to respond.

  3. KeyshiaDelRey October 15, 2014

The delusion is real. Classic? You were a one hit wonder which is ironic because nobody is WONDERING where you’ve been all these years.

  4. ChanteWantsMore October 15, 2014

Girls get one hit on radio and they think they’re trendsetters.

    • MisdamenorFan October 15, 2014

Hit? Chile please… it was a local popular song.

  5. Beysus October 15, 2014

Who???? BYEEE!!!! Oh it’s Keyshias birthday today…

  6. TeyanaForPresident October 15, 2014

Keyshia did copy her though, look at the way the cover was shot and the car reference. That can’t be a coinkadink.

Shareefa is mad because she can relate to the title more. Once she got to the point of her one hit she NEVER returned! Hahahahahhaha. I crack myself up. Whooh. Good times.

There are several albums with the “Point Of No Return” dating back to the 1980s. There’s even a popular song called “Point Of No Return” by NuShooz. Reefa should be made at Ludacris for being a never-was and not Keyshia Cole over an album title.

  11. MisdamenorFan October 15, 2014

Very petty to get mad over an album title. How many people have named albums “Forever”

  12. Timago October 15, 2014

    Shareeflop and Flopshia Cole.

    FLOP

    FLOP

    FLOP

    FLOP

    FLOP

    FLOP

    FLOP

  13. NOLIES October 15, 2014

    LOL WHO??

I didn’t see The Game & Ne-Yo fighting over the Red album, or Jay-Z & Prince beefing over the Black album, or etc. Both albums are mediocre flops, so sit down and quit disturbing the peace.

    • aml October 15, 2014

      AMEN hahahaha

  14. christinastherealtalent October 15, 2014

Get over yourself! Name me one artist that doesn’t have the same song or album title as somebody else. #byefelicia

I don’t care what anyone says, Shareefa’s debut was great and i still listen to it today. I thought the same thing when i saw the title of keyshia’s album. I don’t think she “copied” her, i just think she wasn’t aware or something.

    • truth (icki is the QWEEN OF PUSHBACK!! Iggy got her scuured honey. #IckiAFlop) October 15, 2014

      U da only one wwhore.

      • credits October 15, 2014

^^What’s wrong with these internet heffers now a days?

Truth be told, Shareefa’s ‘point of no return,’ is better than all of the flops keyshia cole released after ‘just like you.’

  16. skyfall October 15, 2014

Thats like Chris Brown saying Ed Sheeran copied his album title “X”

  17. Mark111m October 15, 2014

I remember her, this was when their were a dozen MJB clones in 05 including Cole.
There’s lots of albums with the same name, The Evolution of Robin Thicke, Ciara The Evolution. Fame vs The Fame, X vs X.

  18. JazThatBoi October 15, 2014

Okay i was like okkkkayyyy Shareefa, then I hit the play button!!! Haha i remember that joint…Cant hate that joint goes in!!! iiiiiiiii lol (real take its not a super original title…if someone names their album “I am Sasha Fierce” then we can talk..lol

  19. DJY October 15, 2014

Oh please… Keyshia announced the title of this album a while ago and you want to make me believe that Shareefa (Which shares the same genre of music than Keyshia) is only reacting after the release of the album? Ain’t it funny… So I guess that Arianna Grandé is going to have the same problem with her last album “My Everything” which is the name of Anita Baker’s one released in 2006. Come on… there’s a LOT of songs and albums who have the same title, that reaction is just a way to catch attention and it works like everytime. I respect Shareefa and I love what she musically did before but this is just a joke to me, next.

  20. tits mcgee October 15, 2014

Actually, Frank Sinatra, had an album called
‘The Point of No Return’ 1st.

Then like someone already pointed out above,
Nu Shooz had a song with that title, as well,
another group in the ’80’s, Expose!

That title has been used countless times,
including, as a title to the American remake,
movie for LA Femme Nikita, starring, Brigitte
    Fonda.

So this chick got a long way to go, in saying,
    anyone, copied her with this.

    CHILD
Now I didnt think I could laugh anymore after the Iggy and Trannyoop sago……
I didnt even know who she was until I wiki-ed her……………
You had a NUMBER 62 single and your album went to No25.
Child if you consider your album a classic many people would have it or know WHO YOU ARE!
Another wannabe take a seat purleaze!!

    • credits October 15, 2014

This loser actually went to go check Shareefa’s chart history….GTFOH, clown lol.

  24. DarK_King October 15, 2014

I don’t usually count sales and I actually kinda use to like Shareefa but so many people have had the name Point of No Return,3LW even had it.Also To be honest her single didn’t hit the top 40 it hit the top 70, so yeah…..

  25. Brian310 October 15, 2014

I’m one of the few that purchased the album and I enjoyed it (shareefa) but she is delusional if she thinks she originated that title or her album being a classic which both are false…and there is nothing similar about their covers at all.
