It’s not just Christina Aguilera’s body that’s bouncing back following the birth of her daughter Summer Rain three months ago, her work ethic is too.

The diva wowed at a NASA event last night put on to honor the achievements of Breakthrough Prize Scientists.

Taking centre-stage, the 33-year-old delivered a rousing rendition of signature hit ‘Beautiful’.

Watch Xtina showcase the voice after the jump…

Solid.

Though we’ve always preferred the restrain of the song’s studio version, there’s no denying that Christina is one of the most gifted vocalists of the modern era. As such, why not showcase the length and breadth of her range?

In any case, we can’t wait for the campaign for her much-touted new album to kick off. She sounds great and looks great too, which automatically places her in a better predicament than she was during the push (or lack-thereof) for her last LP ‘Lotus’ back in 2012.

Your thoughts?

If I can say, she did a lil TOO much with this one. It was very Chris Brown in 2005 to 2008. all over the place and sloppy. I get it, she wants to show that she CAN kill it, but she needs to have fully executed moves. And she need to stop doing this song, if not she’s gonna become a one hit wonder.

Oh shut up. Rihanna and Aaliyah could never!!!

      • #TeamTinashe Stan “Aquarius” Now In Stores November 10, 2014

Everybody was pretty much performing melodies for the night. Chris Brown did a melody as well. Tinashe as well did a melody of her songs off of her album and got to perform “Pretend” before the video up top started.

Let’s not add in AALIYAH in there!

      • Brian310 November 10, 2014

Aaliyah delivered on stage and had great stage presence you shall deal with it

MARK MY WORDS… Xtina is gonna come through ands sweep next year like a hurricane. This woman knows the formula of artistry. She’s gonna re-invent herself, re-invent her sound and she’s gonna shake up the industry. Girls like Xtina are waaay too talented to be over.

    • Essa November 10, 2014

Wasn’t the same thing said while she was prepping her last few albums? Face it, Xtina played out like the Backstreet Boys. The GP is over her.

      • dotti November 13, 2014

christina is still being asked to perform. so no way is she over. unlike the backstreet boys, her talent will guarantee she’ll always be around even if she never again has a big selling cd.

    Screamtina strikes again

Why cone to hate? If you have nothing to say as the saying goes…. DONT. Stop trolling and find something productive to do ffs.

Didn’t like it. If she had sung it more tone down, the last verse and climax would had felt bigger without doing much. But she was reserved vocally, which made the big part if the song not as big bc there was no build up. But vocally it wasnt bad, and she sounded well.

  7. bella November 10, 2014

She looks and sounds incredible!!! A true vocalist, very on point performance 🙂 she looks fab, her look was on point and flawless!!! Absolutely beautiful 🙂

  8. Sherry November 10, 2014

Beautiful! Christina is the last of a dying breed. She actually has talent. Looking forward to her next album. She never disappoints.

  9. Realist November 10, 2014

Not bad, she should have brought it down half a key so she wouldn’t strain so much when she is at the climax nor use all the runs during the vers but she did sound decent though!

  10. Whettttttt November 10, 2014

Christina’s undeniable, super high soprano is one of a kind. Her notes and range cannot be matched and she has the most signature vocal styling in history.

  11. OMG Logic!!! November 10, 2014

She sounds terrible. All those ridiculous runs. We get it girl, you can’t sustain a note anymore. Horrible musicality. Mariah might struggle, but at least she always sings along with the music and not all over the place like Xtincta.

  12. JOHNVIDAL November 10, 2014

I don´t know what to think.

  13. TheElusiveLamb November 10, 2014

    Her body >>>>>>>

  14. Theman November 10, 2014

She ain’t do no straining.. She just sounded
amazing.. Her voice is in great form. She has an amazing voice. Lol sure she did a lil extra. But she sounded really good. As for Mariah she’s been sounding great recently..

    • TheElusiveLamb November 10, 2014

      Agreed! Won’t he do it?!

  15. eric November 10, 2014

She’s making the same mistake of over-singing to the point that she has to strain and stretch her vocal cords to mark the song’s climax. Christina used to sing with amazing control. She needs to relax.

  16. dzyre November 10, 2014

This performance sounds so disconnected with all the random displaced runs and riffs . The belting though is strangely decent, no straining.
