The photo was uploaded after the star learned she had become an Oscar nominated performer and a BRIT Awards 2015 contender on the very same day, nabbing the enviable noms thanks to music she recorded the movie ‘Beyond the Lights‘ and her forthcoming US debut album.

Remember when I said she would be nominated for an oscar? I know she did not writ the song, but she will perform. We all know she can SANG and this her chance to to reach the US audience.

Aahliyah sang at the oscar in 1998 and then Hollywood start chasing her down. So, this is career defining for her. She also scored a Brit nom too.
