Bastille is trash. The same payola s*** happened with Pompeii in the US; I think it had a Clear Channel deal. Hopefully Dan’s next album is panned by the critics and he disappears for good.
On Foals, Olympic Airways is in their top 5 for sure. I think Total Life Forever is their best album though.
I missed the chance to see foals live at ramfest because I was writing exams -_-
According to NME they’re releasing a new album in autumn? Take it with a grain of salt but I’m definitely seeing them next time they tour (if they even come to Canada lol. If not I’ll just go to the US). I missed them last time because I blew all my tour money on more expensive tickets.
That’s the thing though. I find out too late when non commercial people are in town and I spend my money on going to trance festivals instead.

Chile, you better ride the wave of slayage after that Super Bowl performance and make “Prism” double platinum in the U.S. If she really wanted to capitalize off of this, she’d go ahead and release anther single (preferably, “Walking on Air” or “Legendary Lovers”) to get her 10th #1 because her last two singles didn’t even crack the top 15 and fell off the Hot 100 too fast. That’s very embarrassing for the digital pop princess, but congrats to her!

Tbh, Legendary Lovers should’ve been a single over This Is How We Do. I think it wasn’t because it sounded similar to Come & Get It with the drums. The video could’ve been epic though.
I love that Katy Perry is a Pop star who traditionally rocks the dark hair. So many blondes out in the industry it certainly is refreshing just to see her be so popular. Way to go for that alone!
