Lodged atop of the chart with the infectious ‘Uptown Funk,’ the Mark Ronson song which he sings lead on, the performer’s run at #1 hit an epic milestone today.

This week marks the track’s tenth week atop of the count.
A major feat in itself, the achievement sees ‘Funk’ become just the 29th number one in Hot 100 history to lead for at least 10 weeks.
29 may seem like a relatively high figure, yet when placed in the context of the 1041 songs that have topped the Hot 100 since it began on August 4th 1956, it becomes apparent how special a moment this is for all involved.
For, as powerfully noted by Billboard, the single is part of the minuscule 3% of Hot 100 #1’s that have stayed in the spot for ten weeks or more.
