After Sony Pictures faced the leaking of a number of internal emails last year this year has seen the music arm of the company’s body deal with the same drama after emails sent about a number of its acts by the label’s bosses were published online.
Now, as the debate surrounding the rights and wrongs and pros and cons of sharing said emails online heats up, the entertainer Beyonce has seen her name throw into the mix…again.

After private emails sent by Sony execs praised the singer’s unwavering position at the top, the singer’s name appears in a new email exchange between former Sony Pictures boss Amy Pascal and her then colleague Elizabeth Cantillon.
What they were discussing? A movie starring the ‘Halo’ singer and her friend Gwyneth Paltrow, who is (or was) to serve as its producer.
It’d be wrong of us to spill the beans on the project’s title or plot, but can be sure the singer’s fans will be interested to learn of the role she had been linked to.
In the pitch the star had been tied to the portrayal of a character named Jezebel who works at Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles.
If the star agrees to star in the movie she’ll find a collaborator in Dr. Luke, the chart-topping producer reportedly enlisted create original music for the release.
Beyonce has generated $994. 3 million since she first stepped onto the big screen in ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember’ back in 2002.
It’s important to note that the star has not been hitched to this project or the role she’s alleged to have been offered officially.

Hollywood is full of singers AND who don’t have the best acting chops (I won’t name names), yet they constantly and consistently get role after role. If Bey loves the art and loves to act, whether good or bad, then I’m all for it!
The only person I can think of you are talking about is j hud she does have the skill jlo as well but Bey for some odd reason can’t pull it off like them. For the most part all these big roles are going to REAL actresses not singers/actress
J.Lo’s skill is very debatable. Don’t get me wrong I love some of her movies, but It’s mainly her charismatic girl-next-door persona that attracts a crowd (and to be to be quiet honest she’s mainly just playing variations of herself). I can’t picture J.Lo in a truly heartbreaking scene that steals the show. Beyonce always picks musical movies to act in (with the exception of Obsessed & Epic) specifically because she’s not trying to become the next big actress, she just enjoys performing on screen and likes having her music branch out through films (which is why she usually coincides it with an album release of soundtrack drop).
Well jlo did kill the movie Enough and selena so she does get her Brownie points she doesn’t pull the typical like gabrielle union she’s always played a b**** or some sort of mean girl in everything so to see her in her current show and she nailed it was dope. Only a handful of artist have crossed over to acting and are killing it. However Bey, Nick an rih are a few that should just be on the soundtrack or slay my life on stage

Girl Beyoncè is not that bad as an actress. J.Lo is alright, she just get the roles that are more like her personality. J.Hud is not that good of an actress either. Acting May not be Beyoncè’s first love but you can tell she loves it and dedicates her time to her work. I never understand why people say “Beyoncè only does musical movies).so what. She’s not singing the script. She still has to act. I just think it’s a bonus for her to tie music video into the film’s. She will improve with time and studying.

Anyways I know inside info about the casting process of movies. This is just a bogus pitch and amateur filmmakers constantly come up with script ideas written with particular celebrities in mind. I really hope she considers taking more roles. It’s been six years. People complain about her acting but she’s not that bad. When you look at her serious roles in Cadillac Records and Dreamgirls, she is way above decent. Decent enough to be recognized by the Golden Globes twice and decent enough to gross nearly 1 billion in box office hits. A true triple threat. No weapons formed against her will prosper.
