Jason Derulo‘s latest jam ‘Want To Want Me’ received its first live performance on ‘American Idol’ last night.
Already #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 (after just four weeks on the tally), the cut (which is lifted from the 25 year old’s new album ‘Everything Is 4’) is poised for a big boost following yesterday’s rendition.

We’re yet to be wowed by the song and are still somewhat perplexed as to why the Urban lean of ‘Talk Dirty’ seems to have been ditched so swiftly.
Still, kudos to Jason for being one of the few consistently peddling all-out Pop. It’s clearly proving a winning formula, so why not?!

Who still Watches American Idol
Ummm… TGJ, “Talk Dirty” was not Urban. To the least it was 3/4 pure pop. He has always been great @ pop- it has given him many plaques. “still gettin plaques from my records that’s pop”-Jason Derulo unreleased verse on “Feeling Myself.”
He’s trash. He couldn’t even win or be a finalist on American Idol so..

He will sell like 4k copies first week or so again when his album is released. Singles artist, well his singles are not even taht successful and all of them are forgotten.
He´s nice and hardworking though.
I like the song, but how does this guy still have a career?
