As reported, the soulful crooner found himself in a spot of bother after declaring that he made better music than Frank Ocean during a recent interview.
Given the rarity of artists being so frank, the singer’s comments went viral on social media and the lion-share of the response was less than endorsing.
In an attempt to mellow the melee, Mig-Money released a statement via Twitter.

To be frank (pardon the pun), it’s actually somewhat refreshing to see an artist say what’s on their mind – even if it goes against the grain of what’s “politically correct”.
If anything, his taking it back grates a bit more.
Anyway, with Mr. Ocean reportedly swimming to shores with new album ‘Boys Don’t Cry,’ it’ll be ultra interesting to see who the masses feels delivered the better album.

Frank took on Chris Brown, so Mexican Jumping Bean is nothing to bark at. What is his new album numbers? I listened to it and it’s actually pretty good. I hear Prince and The Eagles and some other old school bands in it But still night and day to Frank Ocean. Frank is very different, fresh air and an amazing writer.

I can’t believe he’s still seemingly bitter about that Grammy Frank won over him in 2013 when he too also took home a trophy that same night for Adorn. I said it earlier, but the fact that it was FRANK’S name that trended worldwide on twitter and not his speaks volumes. Even worse that his first week sales just came in and they’re less than stellar which will only give Frank more hype when he does decide to drop his new music.
