That’s nice. Hopefully I will hear a variety of musical offerings on 25. While I enjoy her nostalgic vocals and music I’d like to see her play around with her voice and music a bit more. I’m not saying go totally left field, but just something a tad different. Btw we know she’s gonna slay everybody there’s no need to keep repeating it. Everyone isn’t mean to be a massive mega seller and has their own place in the industry.

The album is overwhelmingly performng well. Its currently #1 in 90 COUNTRIES! Thats pre-order sales only. She will sell no less than 10 million worldwide. As for 21 numbers yes we will have to wait and see.
what i meant was that currently everything thing this era is achieving is based off the hype created by the success of 21 and not really on how good Hello is. This album will be frontloaded for several weeks, its when people start hearing the songs on the radio and get to judge them separate from the hype that we see the true sales vs quality figures.

Adele is very amazing. But those other artists are doing great too. Why does it always have to be a competition? Celebrate all of their great success. Furthermore, you’d think that with the way that Adele sales, radio would wake up & play more qualitative and versatile music. She moves tons of units. Adele’s success has nothing to do with Taylor’s. Taylor is wildly successful too.. Can some urban artists get in on this success?

I love “Hello.” No doubt. Looks like I’ll have a date with “25” on Nov. 20 like I did with “21” in Feb. of 2011. But let’s be clear, “21” isn’t the landmark album people make it out to be. It had a few great songs, some average songs, and a few bad songs. It sold astronomically well, yes, but great sales do not automatically make a masterpiece.
I really hope this album is better than “21” so she won’t be afraid to alienate some of her fans in the future. For Adele, only 27, to really become the artist that she can be she eventually has to produce a work that everyone won’t like. I hope that album is coming soon. This one won’t be it though.
I’ll say this, there is no other popular artist on Earth who connects so many different listeners. Pop, R & B, Soul, Rap, Metal, Rock, etc…fans get behind her and that is something we don’t see very often in history. I just wish my Amy was still here so we could get another angle of the British genius.

The fact she’s smashing singles records, when she is primarily an album seller, is indicative that there’s no limit for 25. This is uncharted territory. I’m excited to see what happens. But I can’t see her outselling 21. I think she’ll do 20 million sales in total, and might even manage a million sales first week in the UK, which would be an all time record. Currently the record is Oasis’ Be Here Now which shifted 700,000 in 1997.
