Last week, Erykah Badu set the net ablaze when she roasted Iggy Azalea at the Soul Train Music Awards.

Indeed, who didn’t chuckle when the eclectic songbird comically claimed that what the material Aussie femcee makes is “definitely not Rap.”

In true Azalea form, the moment didn’t go without a response – albeit one not directed at Badu head-on.

However, after the ‘Tyrone’ singer offered an olive branch last night, the 25-year-old replied with a comment that may surprise some.

Read below…

Erykah’s apology:

Iggy’s reply:

Sweet.

Iggy’s aptly titled sophomore album ‘Digital Distortion’ is due next year.

I love Erykah inspite the bs stunt she pulled! But this is cute and Erykah is funny as hell lol! IGGY is just a hustler working ! Everyone is trying to work and come up! As long as she doesn’t disrespects anyone or the culture we should let her work!

Blacks want equal right but cant let a white b1tch rap! WTF….

    • Lmfao_Hoe December 8, 2015

What tf are you evening saying? First off Iggy can’t rap that’s not hate that FACT. She wouldn’t last a damn sec or min against Nicki, Azealia, Tink, Missy or any female / male rapper 4 that matter on a beat, freestyling, and acapella. Nobody hating on the girl please, she’s not on our mind. We have bigger fish to fry, top of that we love when (Real authentic white artists come out -> Adele, Sam, Eminem, ect. ) are all above this girl. But to each and their own w/e.

      • OMG Logic!!! December 8, 2015

If trash like Onika can rap, so can Iggy.

  10. No favs, just here for the music December 8, 2015

I don’t think she had to apologize. She was just stating her opinion and imo telling the truth but whatever

    *shrugs*

That was big of Erykah and very big of Iggy. I think it’s time to stop making Iggy the b*** of all jokes. It’s getting old now!

I think Iggy is okay, Erica’s apology was kinda shady though, ion think it was sincere. As far as Iggy, she needs a tougher backbone, and she needs to direct all the hate she received into her music, some artist make they best material under heavy pressure.
