  8. Cizer December 9, 2015

Why didn’t they nominate Ciara. Neither the Grammys or them nominated her. They must’ve forgot how epic her performances are and there could’ve been a tribute. But I’m sure Ciara probably doesn’t even care about awards anymore she’s probably in a different place in life with her relationship and being a mother anyway and that’s probably more important

    • Ciah’s Turtle December 9, 2015

    • Dontazz December 9, 2015

I think because All of her singles were eligible for the Grammys.. The album did miss the deadline tho

  14. OMG Logic!!! December 9, 2015

An award show where only Black people can be nominated? Can you imagine the firestorm if there were an award show with only White nominees? Hell, the Oscars and Grammys get sh1t every year because not enough Black nominees appear on the lists (despite the Black population only being 13% of America). Yet no one bats an eyelash at the 70%+ of Basketball athletes being Black, nor in at the NFL’s 64%+ total athletes being Black.

    • dre December 10, 2015

Ummm you know people like Tina Marie and Justin Timberlake have been nominated

    • Ann December 15, 2015

And there enlies the problem. Blks 13% pop but set the stage for hip hop Rnb music and if no one said anything whites 87% population would total whitewash the music culture and that’s scary!

  15. TrinaAllDay December 10, 2015

Its about time, I’m glad to see an award ceremony, that’s going to reconize artist for their talent, consistency, and real effort?? Its like most of these award shows are really only just popularity contests.?

  16. Sandra December 15, 2015

Janet’s album is trash! The world agrees, its miserable sales tells me no one bought it!
