YouTube announced today that it will start supporting live streams of 360-degree video. Since we’re passionate about cutting edge technology at The Verge, we are partnering with YouTube to give the product its first public demonstration. You can tune in to our YouTube channel this Wednesday at 8PM ET / 5PM PT for a performance by experimental pop-R&B artist D∆WN. The experience will work on YouTube’s iOS and Android apps, as well as on the web. You can use any smartphone or tablet, or Google’s Cardboard headset.
Exciting times.
Her performance is expected to feature material pulled from all of her solo projects and, should her fans get their wish, cuts from her days in the aforementioned Kane.

The hot 100 means nothing these days when you buy your way to the top. Dawn is a completely independent act paying for everything out of pocket and even building her own damn set before each show. You can throw receipts for sales and chart placements all day and I’m still gonna have more respect for the person who works her ass off as opposed to the lazy one who really could give a s*** what she’s doing. She just does as she’s told.
