After spinning ‘ANTI’ several times this week we feel it’s a shame that its undeniably horrendous promotional campaign has taken a great deal a way from it.
For, though music should always speak for itself, the campaign’s confusing nature has undoubtedly made it hard for many to look beyond its buzz singles and release date rumours to enjoy what really is a well-written piece of introspective work.
Here’s hoping that the interest surrounding ‘Sledgehammer‘ encourages more music lovers to give ‘ANTI’ a serious listen before the release of its follow-up.

Anti is a great album. Rated R was my favorite, but Anti has taken its place. She really challenged herself with era, promo campaign, and etc. Navy or Die not this b****.
Anti is a great album. I went back this weekend and listened to Rated R through UNA and to see the growth is nothing short of amazing. I listened to it again last night with a blunt and I’ve never fallen with a body of music more in the past five years. She outdid herself. I just would love to see her continue to promote the album for the next year. Like I would a video for LOB and for KIB to be sent to urban radio. I can even see S*x With Me as an urban hit.
I have to say..’UNDERRATED R’ is an amazing album..not amazing by Rihanna standards alone, just a great album by someone. I still think its her best work to date…the album had a theme and was very dark. Cold case love is probably my favorite song by Rihanna ever. That is her MAGNUM OPUS in my opinion. Just an amazing peice of work!!!!!
I never would’ve thought that you were such a fan of Rated R! That album is a work of art. Also, Cold Case Love was my favorite track off of the album as it is a masterpiece. I also love Te Amo and G4L as they resemble the Rihanna we have today.

Anti is definitely one of her top 3 albums. She showed growth. That’s what a real artist is supposed to do. I respect her for not doing just another big pop era for the numbers.. Even though we know she could’ve easily had another Loud era.
