More Life is coming at the top of 2017. Stay tuned for some more updates.
Originally due this month, the playlist would have gone head to head with J. Cole’s ‘4 Your Eyez Only’ which is expected to open with around 550,000 units units moved in its launch week.
This, according to some industry observers, may explain Drake’s delay.

Drake’s latest album ‘Views‘ moved 852,000 units in its U.S. opening week without streams.
Since its April 29th release, the set has sold and streamed over 4 million units in the market and received a Platinum certification for sales of 300,000 units in the United Kingdom.
Despite all of this, it finds himself falling behind Cole’s ‘Eyes’ on a critical front presenting a challenge for the ‘One Dance’ maestro as he readies the hotly-anticipated ‘Life.’

Competition is good, Cole still sold albums in a Drake world with his pass few releases. The only rappers having problems selling is Kendrick (he sell ok) Big Sean & Wales. Honestly real rap has been long gone. Secondly everyone has an opinion what’s real to someone may not be real to another. J cole music doesn’t speak to me cause I never went through any of the stuff he writes about besides being black and being looked at differently. I think Drake is just playing his cards right to maximize on his success. I wish J Cole the best but for me a constant album seller is better than first week sales. Hopefully both artist will do great.
I like J Cole more than Drake. Drake has some good dance songs but no songs with a message. JCole songs have more meaning and message.

I like J Cole and all but his stans are always doing the most. Not only are they STILL seriously trying it with this “you have to have a certain level of intelligence to listen to him” BS even though it’s basically a meme at this point but they think Drake, out of all rappers, is shook over a 400K+ first week. I think drake’s latest music has been okay nothing spectacular, he’s starting to suffer from oversexposure though. I still think he has a ton of potential he just needs to take a step back rn and give us time to miss him.
