Fifth Harmony Announce ‘7/27 Tour’ Asia

Published: Monday 16th Jan 2017 by Sam

Fifth Harmony are wasting no time charging on as a four-piece.

Fresh from the departure of Camila, remaining members Normani, Dinah, Lauren, and Ally announced their first performance – which takes place this week at the People’s Choice Awards.

Now, they’re taking things to the next level with their first tour as a quad.

Details below…

Firing up fans on Facebook this morning, the ladies announced the Asian leg of their ‘7/27 Tour.’

They wrote:

‪Asia, hope you’re ready for the #727Tour!! This is going to be our FIRST EVER ASIAN TOUR so let’s have some fun ❤️✈️

March 23rd: Okinawa, Japan
March 25: Tokyo, Japan – PopSpring
March 26: Kobe, Japan – PopSpring
March 31st: Hong Kong
April 1st: Taipei, Taiwan
April 5th: Manila, Philippines
April 7th: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
April 8th: Singapore

The trek is, of course, in support of the group’s sophomore album ‘7/27,’ which birthed global smash ‘Work From Home’ and summer sizzler ‘All In My Head (Flex).’

Previous legs of the tour included North America, South America, and Europe.

We’re all the way “here” for this.

In today’s era of “keep it moving,” they don’t have the luxury of disappearing and coming back “rebranded.” There’s literally no time for that.

This allows them to hone their craft with their new setup, ascertain who’ll sing what, and gel as a refreshed line-up ahead of promised new music later this year.

Ya’ll betta slay that picture! Their swag meter has gone up ever since Carmen Sandiego left the group lol…where in the world could she be? Who cares!

    • Kris January 16, 2017

I was about to say, they look like a real group now.

Good for the ladies. I hope now forward they appear more like they all like each other and are in it to win as a team.

I can’t wait to see how they cover CC vocals and verses and such on the YouTube videos to be uploaded soon.

They def should record music while they are doing this so they can have a new album out asap and if I had any say by mid year.

Their main problem was is that they never looked or acted like a group , look at LM and then look at them . 5h always looked like they hate each other .

    • truthteller January 16, 2017

Some of the biggest girl groups hated each other at one point or another. And “acting like a group” doesn’t seem to be helping Little Mix much outside the UK.

    • MusicFan103 January 16, 2017

I ALWAYS said the same thing. The always appeared like they do not like each other in the past. It looks like its getting better with the new promo pics.

*Insert Mariah IDK Her GIF about Little Mix* LOL

Good move. The album did well in Japan and they won an MTV Japan award recently.

If they’re doing a whole new reinvention, it’s kinda dumb to keep that same name.

    • Is that right?! January 16, 2017

How is it dumb? TLC remains TLS even though left eye died. They didn’t change their name of TC. Destinys Child remaind Destinys Child after Farrah left. They didn’t officially change their name to DC3. Plus 5Th harmony is trademarked. Who wants to spend all that money changing the name. Plus I believe the fans picked the name.

      • MusicLife January 16, 2017

It’s beyond me why these noobs and kids think their name needs to change. They need to read about the 3LW story and breakup/member loss, and TLC was a great example to since they aren’t “TC” now.

Idiotic to think a brand has to change when changes are made. It’s not like subway, mcdonalds or Taco Bell change their name when they begin using new ingredients or less salt and artificial flavorings.

      • Miss Omega January 16, 2017

TLC and 3LW are hardly good examples of groups continuing past a lineup change.

      • Miss Omega January 16, 2017

^^ Particularly because one leaving for solo career a member dying and…because 3LW didn’t have a career after Naturi left. And in fact, they did effectively change their name…to the Cheetah Girls.

      • Danny Bey January 16, 2017

Furthermore, who’s to say that 5H has to do what any previous girl group has done or not for. They are their own group and trying to carve their own legacy. So whatever decisions they make should be based upon what’s good for THEIR group and no one else’s. So if keeping the name works, which it will, then let it be that! “Fans” think they know everything about everything when they don’t.

      • MusicLife January 16, 2017

Miss Omega don’t know sh!t. 3LW did continue after Naturi left the group and she didn’t leave for a solo career. Just because their 2007 single and future album didn’t pop and album didn’t see a release date doesn’t mean they disbanded after becoming “2LW” via fans nickname. She left. Cause she was mistreated. TLC did use their name after Left Aegean passed. Don’t be mad because you don’t know their history.

    • Jay Alford January 16, 2017

That’s their brand though. They’re not going to go from Fifth Harmony to Fourth Harmony because one little girl wanted to excuse herself. Same thing with TLC, even after Left-Eye passed (RIP Left Eye), they remained being TLC.
