Last month, R&B group Cherish re-emerged to present the news of new music, and now, as promised, the ladies return with their new single ‘Self Destruction.’
Rising to prominence during Atlanta’s snap music era (see Dem Franchize Boys, D4L, and Soulja Boy) the former quartet found success with ‘Do It To It‘ from its parent album ‘Unappreciated.‘ Success which privileged the ladies an impressive #4 spot on the Billboard 200.
Now, with their ’06 run in the rearview, the group are back as a duo to push ‘Destruction,’ a follow up single to ‘One Time,’ released earlier this month.

They should’ve tried to come back as a 3 piece, duo’s hardly ever make it. The song is heat by the way.

I know they sisters and all that but I am not here for them still being called Cherish and there’s only 2. Just not right they should have just changed their name to something else.

I agree that they shouldn’t go by Cherish since the other two sisters are no longer in the group. BTW the other two are married with families so Cherish is no longer a priority for them.

Second Thought: I do love their slow bops, and this is quite cute for the throwback Cherish…. I could be here for an album, But id need to hear an uptempo bop to see how it makes me feel.
Nice song but uh not many people know who they are one sister is married and the other one is Not married anymore and the twins sister should change the name of the group since it only two people singing this song
