Watch: Katy Perry Rocks ‘The Voice AU’ With ‘Swish Swish’

Published: Sunday 2nd Jul 2017 by Sam

It’s been far from plain sailing for Katy Perry and her ‘Witness’ era, but the Pop star is pressing on.

The 32-year-old’s promo run saw her dive Down Under to perform on the finale of The Voice Australia.

Backed by a troop of sassy dancers, Perry showed up and out to ‘Swish Swish’ – her collaboration with Nicki Minaj.

And while Onika wasn’t on hand for the performance, it didn’t stop it from being the best Perry’s given this era.

Check it out below…

Finally, a performance in which she seemed awake and engaged.

It’s a shame that the song is a ball of blah, but the effort (and there was a lot of it) is both noted and appreciated.

Finally, the clothes, the dancers, the choreography, the stage were on point and Katy looked engaged! I need Nicki to perform with her, I actually like this song.

Str8 slayed. I didnt get the hate this era Katy has gotten. I liked 3 singles, her visuals and art work was top notch (apart from the album cover). And her performance has been well put together.

This was good. I’ve seen her do way worse to better songs (2010 MTV movie awards performance of California Girls), so I will give her that. I just hate it is single #3 so fast when there are a few great songs that are really good on the album that deserve the single treatment (video, live performance, other visuals to go along, etc). But if her album sales pick up then she could have 6 or more singles from the album.
