Tamar Braxton hatches her fourth (and “last”) album ‘Bluebird Of Happiness’ tomorrow.
As reported, she stopped by The Wendy Williams Show today to promote the set and spill on a variety of Hot Topics.
During her visit, she took to the stage to perform the song ‘Blind.’

There was a whole lot of theatrics but we have a sneaky suspicion that her mic was switched OFF.
It’s a given that Tamar is a vocal beast, but decisions like this are beyond baffling.
If there was an issue with her voice, she’d have been much better off performing something uptempo ala ‘Pick Me Up’ and dance so as to at least create enough of a distraction. Ultimately, it’s all about delivering a production that helps suspend belief.
This did the opposite and is kinda counterproductive heading into album release. Just keeping it 100.

since she’s independent I don’t think she can afford a band and back up singers so she has to this instead, what kind of low budget era I do believe she wanted to but hers funds can’t pay for what she’s needs
But she can’t sing live to an instrumental? Could she not afford a microphone that turns on? Is that what you’re telling me?
I just need to know who is selecting her singles? I LOVE Tamar. I have her very first album (Tamar). The single selections are not good. My Man is a cute song, but a single? Blind is an amazing song to have on the album, but it’s not going to garner her the chart success it deserves…SIGH!
Her and Mariah are so useless. These bleach blondes are always turning the mic off, while waving hands and exaggerating head movements. stans blindly go on &on about them having amazing voices, but they’d be better off sticking to being reality stars.
The difference is that Mariah has a large catalogue of hits and older youtube clips where she is actually singing. I agree with you that non-dancing performers should at least be singing live. Their fans deserve more than a Rupaul lip-synch sing-for-your-life performance.
Mariah’s actually more painful to watch out of the 2. She’s the stiffest artist I ever saw in my life and has been that way since the 90’s. Tamar is hit or mostly miss live.
Mariah has nothing to prove. Been in the game 27 years and a catalogue that’s still relevant today. Let’s not act like Mariah in her prime couldn’t sing ur fave under the bus.
This was really uncomfortable to watch. I couldn’t watch the entire performance. Tamar is a great singer, so why the lip-sync? It looks so fake and she shows loads of emotion during lip-syncing performances like do you really feel all of those emotions even though you’re not singing for real. The guy on the piano why was he even there?
It would have been easier on her to just sing the song live. She wasted a good opportunity to sing the song live.

Times are hard for these R&B acts. I think “Bluebird of Happiness” would be a poor selection of old school songs. I hate it!
Lol there are ways to lip-sync well, pre-record an alternate vocal track etc. This was not a good attempt. There are literally vocals audibly over lapping and she’s pretending that sound is coming out of her mouth, I can’t.
Things that make you go Hmmmm. From the snippets there are so many other songs she could have sang plus she can sing live. Why Tamar why? Don’t act sing. Saaaaaaaaannnnnggggggggggg!
