Fans of Ciara have been salivating new music for the longest. And while a release date has yet to be revealed, the singer has revealed that much of the project – the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Jackie’ – is done.

In an interview with InStyle to promote her cosmetics collaboration with Revlon, CiCi touted her pregnancy with daughter Sienna as empowering her creation process. She said:
I think for a woman there’s something even deeper about having a baby girl. Knowing the experiences I’ve gone through in this world, I just want the best for my daughter. I want the best for my son too, but it’s just a very different connection. I felt more empowered than ever when I was pregnant with Sienna. I made 90 percent of my upcoming album while I was pregnant, and I want to show her by example that there’s absolutely nothing she can’t do.
The as yet untitled set will serve as Mrs Wilson’s first since signing to new label Warner Bros; a deal she finalised just months before giving birth.
We’re super buzzed to hear what she’s cooked up and what her roll-out will be like with her new imprint.

I’m honestly excited about her new project, I think she’s gonna have a big push behind her as far as her new management and new label. Her problem was never her music it was always her team. So I’m looking forward to her first single. Best of luck ci❤️

I really hope it’s more RnB and not pop. Sonically, I would love to see her take the weeknd, Bruno mars, Jhene and SZA route. She’s proven herself as an avid song writer as well. And she can perform tf outta mid tempos and slow jams– she tells a story like no other. Fingers crossed cuz Jackie was a mess girl.

I’m interested to see what will come of her new project since Warner’s took her in. Deep down in my soul I️ smell disappointment. But anything will be better than Jackie.
I still play her self title album which was dope from beginning to end…I hate to say it but her and future did thing on that album.
Please Ciara no pop dance stuff, get back to your roots. It’s ok to do turnt r&b or ballads we (the fans) check for that sis.
