The critically acclaimed singer-songwriter has announced the 20th anniversary tour of ‘The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill.’

The 1998 set birthed hits such as ‘Doo Wop (That Thing)’ and ‘Everything is Everything,’ and won five Grammy Awards. In 2015, ‘The Miseducation’ was inducted in the US Library of Congress.

Sorry Lauryn Hill. I done paid once to see you live which you showed up late 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Imma need to see her actually stick to it be on time and professional and complete a few shows before I pay my money again.
The opinion of a disappointed fan.

    • Bam April 17, 2018

Well then you know to arrive an hour later than the scheduled start time lol.

  4. Chileplease (the first and only bih) April 17, 2018

She’s been touring for this album for the last 20 years. What’s new?

    • Jasmine Da Bi Asian NOT Trashmine or TROLLmine🙋🏿‍♀️💁🏿‍♀️ April 17, 2018

Well there aren’t many female rappers with classic rap albums and NONE with a rap/sung album so it’s unique. We have cardi who is a horrible rapper and nicki who makes the same music over and over plus wants to be lil Kim soooooo bad so it’s ok to cherish how amazing female rap USED to be. Not everyone has this to their credit

  5. Tori April 17, 2018

If you buy tickets to this, you need your ass whooped.

    • Dee April 17, 2018

Same thing I said. Yes Lauryn Hill is an icon an amazing artist. But she has shown she is not as dedicated to these live shows as her true fans are. She won’t be tricking me into spending my money on tickets.

      • Tori April 17, 2018

She should do a live session on Facebook live instead…but then again, it could be at her damn house and she still wouldn’t show up for the video streaming.

  6. Ka April 17, 2018

I need to see a few performances before I’ll buy, that album stands the test of time but Ms. Hills rep for not showing or ridiculous lateness has effected the grateness.

  7. Keira April 17, 2018

Lauryn: Yo, you going to that lauryn hill concert?
    Fan: Nah, You?

    • Arden April 17, 2018

      lmao tooo funny

  9. ??? April 17, 2018

lmao slay lauryn. you wont see corni or nicki doing doing something like this in 20 years, or even 5 years lmfaoooo

    • Arden April 17, 2018

I love Lauryn and while I think the album is a classic I think you’re right they won’t be doing that in 20 years they will likely be performing NEW material which sadly to say lauryn clear has give up on which is sad because she had so much promise an still does miseducation made and destroyed her at the same time. Plus I think cardi will do maybe 3 albums an move on to either starting a label or other ventures

      • ??? April 17, 2018

lmao youre delsuional af if you think corni will still be here even 3 years from now lmfaoooooooooo!

      • ??? April 17, 2018

        *delusional af lmfaooooo

    • I HATE .WHYyyyte n Blaaaxk. Bitchezzzzz April 17, 2018

actually Nicki will be just like Dr. Dre and snoop with chronic 20 years from now she’ll still be performing

      • Jasmine Da Bi Asian NOT Trashmine or TROLLmine🙋🏿‍♀️💁🏿‍♀️ April 17, 2018

Lol “the chronic” is a classic, that’s why they can perform it 20 years later, it’s true hip hop and recognized on all platforms as hip hop gold. Nicki does not have that to her credit, she makes generic music that nobody will remember. Lol stop pinning her music against legendary music that’s not fair to her lol. She makes McMusic

      • Caleb April 17, 2018

That would be nice and all but she’s obviously dragging her feet when it comes to putting out album #4. What makes you think she’ll be putting out albums in 20 years?

  10. I HATE .WHYyyyte n Blaaaxk. Bitchezzzzz April 17, 2018

Lauryn Hill is a crackhead that refuses to release music to her fans…..bye

    • Jasmine Da Bi Asian NOT Trashmine or TROLLmine🙋🏿‍♀️💁🏿‍♀️ April 17, 2018

But see how one quality album trumps a bunch of crappy generic ones.. none of nickis music is regarded like this- a masterpiece, a classic, a must have, a “listened to by everyone”, a Grammy winning, number one having… im sorry ur mad at the fact but💁🏿‍♀️💁🏿‍♀️💁🏿‍♀️ U will deal

    • ??? April 17, 2018

lmao and yet this one album from 20 years ago has still outsold anything these plastic fake female rappers have released tho since then lmfaoooo

    • bama April 17, 2018

Yes I went too, and she was on time, and performed well during her entire long set. Everyone there had a blast. These comments are so messy. It seems like the days of late Lauryn are in the past. Support true talent.

  12. shaediddy April 17, 2018

I will not be spending my hard earned money for The Misscheduling of Lauryn Hill tour. She probably won’t even be there herself…..

    • Lmao_Hoe April 17, 2018

No you didn’t with that title 😂😭💀

  13. Lmao_Hoe April 17, 2018

God knows I love Ms. Lauryn Hill but please also bless us with new material too. Perhaps this might be a sign I hope like how DAngelo released Black Messsiah 14 years later after VooDoo. I had figured after the Nina Simone album tribute she was gearing to release something of her own. Hopefully she does, she did sign a contract with Sony again.

  14. Yas April 17, 2018

What sets Lauryn Hill apart from other female rappers is that she spoke about social issues with such intellect.

  15. Lana Del Fan April 17, 2018

I really would love to go but she’s too inconsistent with performing.

  16. JOHNVIDAL April 17, 2018

    A better time in music.
Have you guys noticed there´s literally no good maisntream song out right now at all??? Like at all and is not to be expected? No wonder why Drake can release whatever song that makes zero impact and top singles charts as he pleases.
There are still good albums out there (normally not mainstream anymore). But great maisntream songs? Like 2 or 3 per year and that´s it? The industry is dead. Pure pshit everywhere. Now that basic girl with the wackest songs one can imagine (Camila) is supposed to be a thing? Sad.

    • @KurtisLeeSinger April 17, 2018

Agree with you 100% that’s why I stay listening to my 90s music hits play on Mariah’s butterfly 🦋… music was just better then
      Pop music Madonna MJ Janet
      Even house music country rock
Was all better in the 90s

  17. Olusheyi April 17, 2018

Excited but I wish she would come out with new music.

  18. N Mac April 17, 2018

hopefully it will be a better show this time around – i saw her in 2015 and it was AWFUL, not only did she delay the show for 2 hours, after about 5 songs, she left the stage for what they advised would be a short break – we left and heard it was more then an hour before she came back. It was by far the worst concert ever and she didn’t sing any of her original songs, it was these weird mash up mixes that just didn’t have her distinctive flow.

  19. justafan April 17, 2018

I used to care but went to her concert where she was sooooo late and her performance was subpar

  20. Merkaba Morris April 17, 2018

I can’t wait I love this Beautiful Goddess she always kept it 100 ……

  21. Kim Nguyen April 18, 2018

Please don’t be late for this tour. I would really like to see you and have a pleasant experience

  22. DanYiel Iman April 18, 2018

    As long as it’s amazing!!
