Fall in line should’ve been a huge HIT
Ugh I hate the music industry..
    Anyways.. great performance!

Agreed! Unfortunately we’re in an era where the music isn’t enough.., as much as Beyoncé was praised for Lemonade it was really the A+ multi-approach promotion that cemented it as her most critically and financially successful eras. There were no real singles for that album but it did the damn thing because her promo was so on point. While this is likely not going to be as aggressive an approach i.e. HBO special, tours, politics etc. one thing Xtina, much like Beyoncé, has over the other girls is her ability to deliver live.., hopefully audiences will pay attention to that.

Fall in line fails in production though. I loved the demo version that leaked. Adding Demi backfired and the production version has production issues that was not fixed. Let’s be real here….in the past Xtina’s voice really helped sell the songs. Now she is an older artist that just screams and talk sings. Gone is her beautiful voice of yester year. She can hit a good note here and there but the beautiful singing she did live and in the studio of yester year is long gone. Her singing style finally caught up with her and a large part of her voice is shot. You can tell it in the video above by the crown reaction not being wowed by her performance and you can clearly hear it for yourself her voice has gone downhill.

That fan wasn’t leaving without every photo, video, and autograph he came for! lol. Without Demi, “Fall in Line” is less difficult to like. Better visuals would help sell it. The choreo for “Fighter” still looks good!

Girl, I have some positive things to say, but first, FIRE YOUR ENTIRE STYLIST TEAM ? Like who told her that outfit was okay???? She’s lost weight, but she kept pulling at it subconciously like a fat person in a tight sweater.

C.H.U.D was vocally the better, but Fall In Line was a hot steaming MESS and the vocal arrangement for Fighter, while meant to engage the crowd, was too rapper call-and-response and she dodged high notes at the end and sounded like she was straining.

Time to move onto PIPE if you’re not ‘chasing the charts’ and stop the screaming already. ??‍♂️

She gained weight again. You can tell by looking at the size of her thighs compared to her dancers thighs even though she tried to appear slimmer by wearing those 6 inch heels. Shes eating something.

FALL IN LINE is the worst song on the album. Everything else is GOOD!!!!!!!

    Well, it’s better than Lotus…
But not better than Stripped, Back to Basics and Bionic…

    • Francis June 16, 2018

She will never deliver another ‘Stripped’, that album is a masterpiece! ‘Back to Basics’ it’s very different, we can’t compare it to her other albums, it’s an amazing body of work.

‘Liberation’ it’s better than ‘Bionic’ and definitely better than ‘Lotus’. ‘Bionic’ it’s a good album, but the strengths of that record, at least for me, are the ballads, I still hear ‘You Lost Me’, ‘Lift Me Up’, ‘Stronger Than Ever’ and ‘I Am’, the uptempo songs aren’t that good. It truly was a body of work ahead of the time. This new record it’s so cohesive, I wanted more, but she truly evolved, the lyrics are amazing, the production it’s good and finally she knows how to deal with her new voice (I love her, but let’s not pretend that she still has the same voice she had during the Stripped, Back to Basics and Bionic eras). I’m just happy that she’s at artist mode again, X-Tina and other 90’s pop stars need to show the new ones what a performer really is.

Stripped was recorded at a time period when labels were still investing a lot of money into making albums. If we ever get another era where consumers actually start spending millions on music again then labels will invest more again. I would not say never but you are right with that likely wont happen during Xtina’s lifetime.

        To each their own,
I personally find Liberation mediocre. The album is called Liberation yet only one song reflects liberation and that’s Maria and arguably Sick of Sittin. Like what exactly is she being liberated from? 6yrs for 11 tracks which have all already been done? Really? It’s not as cohesive and polished as her other work in my personal opinion.

  9. HOWYOULIKEIT June 16, 2018

Good performance but she was dodging the high notes of Fighter

  10. Patricia June 22, 2018

She’s killing it yassssss!! What an incredible singer and performer Christina is, without a doubt the best of all time!
