Azealia Banks has finally unwrapped her new single ‘Treasure Island.’
Teased in earnest, the track is the latest to be lifted from her upcoming project ‘Fantasea II: The Second Wave’ – which is touted as being “due soon.”
The set serves as the sequel to her premiere mixtape ‘Fantasea’ and will also stand as her first album release for indie imprint eOne.
A buoyantly bouncy jam, the track uniquely arrives on YouTube ahead of its roll-out on streaming platforms next week.
In fierce fiery form, Banks makes clear that she is the treasure island:

Though somewhat indistinguishable from Banks’ previous bops, this makes for a great listen. It’s unfortunate that she’s diluting the potential of her releases with her social media antics – the latest of which saw her take aim at Nicki Minaj.

It’s a good song. But it’s the A.B. formula just like ariana grande has hers .. rap extra fast, slow it down, and sing then change the beat a couple of times. It’s still good it’s just nothing new
