For, while it’s likely to satiate longterm fans, the track is built on such well-treaded territory that it’s almost indistinguishable from previous releases. A reality which isn’t likely to attract new audiences.
But, in the event that wasn’t the goal, then it delivers.

What? Another album already? Girl I´m still totally getting my life from LUST FOR LIFE. I´m not complaining, only surprised. One of my favorite acts of the last decade (even though she cannot sing live but her artistry and prolific repertoire compensates it vastly).

She’s polarizing and has her stans. She’s like Nancy Sinatra/Selena Gomez to me….can’t sing at all but tries to over a moody production and calls herself an artist

It feels like this song is missing something. Like it keeps building up to something but ultimately doesn’t go anywhere lyrically or musically.
Regardless of what people say Lana sticks to her lane and sound. And even though I didn’t enjoy Lust for Life, I respect her for not jumping shark to be crazy mainstream. She’s got the perfect career and cult fan base.
