The accolades continue to flood in for the ever-fierce Janet Jackson.
For, it’s just been announced that the superstar singer will receive the Global Icon honor at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards.
Details on her appearance and performance below…
Set to take place on November 4th at Spain’s Bilbao Exhibition Centre, the ceremony will see the diva join the likes of Whitney Houston and U2 on the list of acts who’ve received the prestigious honor.
Per a press release from organizers, the 52-year-old will also take to the stage to perform for a dynamite medley of hits – including newest single ‘Made For Now.’ It’ll mark her first performance at the annual extravaganza.
The award comes on the heels of many others received by Jackson over the course of this year. Indeed, 2018 has seen her presented with Icon awards from the likes of Billboard and BMI, as well as the Impact honor from Radio Disney. She also was named amongst the finalists in the ballot for the 2019 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
