Case in point, the rapper’s new cover shoot for Entertainment Weekly – which aptly spotlight’s 2018’s entertainers of the year.
The sparkly spread comes on the heels of a busy few weeks for Belcalis.
Indeed, beyond dropping new single ‘Money,’ (and shooting its incoming video), she launched her Fashion Nova line and was recently announced as a judge on Netflix‘s first music talent search ‘Rhythm & Flow.’ The New Yorker is also widely tipped to be amongst the leading names at next week’s Grammy nominations.

@Fancy Bish don’t act like Cardi doing numbers like they did in the early 2000s. You know when artist was selling 800,000 to 1 million records pure sales first week. Cardi barely sold a quarter million her first week. She went #1 cause the standards of music have been lowered. If she could go #1 with them numbers it just mean there wasn’t no good artist releasing albums that week.

I never said Cardi was a big seller tho…some artists take time to get to blockbuster first week sales! I’m simply saying that Cardi had the better package overall this year compared to the other Queen….songs, album, momentum, consistency, videos and sales (but yes, Nicki’s first era outsold Cardi’s in pure sales)…and on a side note, Cardi doesn’t wear a head wrap with her feet all ashy talking about her creativity and artistry either ? Cardi is just a real one and we ❤️ her for that! And with a screen name like Ri Ri, you should know about artists barely doing a quarter a million the first week! Lmao, I know Rihanna sells great in the long run, but I’m saying tho!
