For much of 2018, Ella Mai has electrified the charts with her butter-smooth brand of R&B. Now she’s crowning her year in a major way – by rocking Saturday Night Live.

The 22-year-old Brit, who was discovered by DJ Mustard, served as the musical guest on this evening’s episode and was sure to show up and show out.

Backed by a full band, the Londoner belted smash ‘Boo’d Up’ and burgeoning Billboard hit ‘Trip.’
