Janet Jackson has done it!
After non-three consecutive years on the nominees ballot, the Queen of Pop has been confirmed for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
One of the highest honors attainable for any musician, Jackson’s entry is notable on several fronts.

Though eligible for over a decade (2007), Jackson was first put on the longlist for the class of 2016. Snubbed then, she would go on to be nominated for entry in 2017 – but was again shut-out.
Third time’s clearly a charm, because Ms. Jackson is officially set for the coveted Hall.
Perhaps it’s divine timing, as her entry will tally with the 30th anniversary of her groundbreaking and game-changing ‘Rhythm Nation’ album.
In being welcomed into the Hall, the diva joins an elite list of names including brothers Michael Jackson (solo), The Jackson 5 (group), Madonna, and Prince.
Speaking on the honor, she said in a statement:
“Thank you Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I am truly honored and I am happy to be in there with my brothers.”
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2019 Induction Ceremony, presented by Klipsch Audio, will be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on March 29th 2019.

The Queen of Pop was inducted in 2008. this b**** only got in because of the backlash from her fans calling them racist for not giving it to her. how sad and pathetic.
FINALLY! This is so long overdue! Janet’s paid the cost to be the boss and then for decades! However, I had a strong feeling Janet would get inducted this year b/c this was the Year of Janet! She’s her getting lifetime achievement awards left and right all year! I’m so proud to be a Janet stan!
