Despite the continued odds stacked against her, Iggy Azalea consistently proves herself a fighter. The trait undoubtedly comes as most pleasing to the rapper’s faithful fan base, affectionately called #Azaleans, as they’ve patiently awaited news on the 28-year-old’s official sophomore album.
Originally titled ‘Digital Distortion,’ the LP and all its content were scrapped amidst label drama that led Azalea to release an EP, 2018’s ‘Survive the Summer,’ as a mean to tide fans over until more news on the follow-up to 2014’s ‘New Classic’ arrived.
Taking to Twitter Tuesday (January 8), the rapstress not only confirmed she is hard at work with Cardi B‘s ‘Bodak Yellow’ producer J. White on the new project, but that it is her best work to date! Details inside:

The tweets above come just days after Iggy Iggz confirmed she is eyeing a February release date for the project’s first official single, with the full project to follow in Spring 2019.
Here’s hoping with her new deal in tow (as we reported here), she’s able to get us new music ASAP! We can’t wait to hear what she’s cooking up in the studio.

Well if she sat down and write maybe it’ll sound more authentic, but neither does Cardi and she managed to get 3 #1 songs. Nicki still the Queen though.
