Since news hit that Britney Spears had entered a mental facility, a fan-led #FreeBritney Movement has been gathered international steam.
See, many of the star’s supporters begun digging into the conservatorship Spears is under; a conservatorship said to be in place to protect her brand, assets, and well-being following her well-documented breakdown in 2007.
With the singer’s dad Jamie in charge, yet reportedly in ailing health, all seems to be unravelling.
First there was the scrapping of Spears’ ‘Domination’ residency in Las Vegas (just weeks before its debut), then individuals in her legal team allegedly begun to resign, the singer checked into rehab, and then the #FreeBritney campaign went global with claims of imprisonment and improper treatment.
Unable to avoid the growing volume attached to the latter, the 37-year-old has spoken up and out.

I wanted to say hi, because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!! There’s rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said. I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear. These fake emails everywhere were crafted by Sam Lutfi years ago… I did not write them. He was pretending to be me and communicating with my team with a fake email address.
My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment ??? You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want! Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way. Whatever side of the argument one is on, surely it’s safe to agree that Britney really requires an elongated spell out of the spotlight so as to deal with her issues.
On the one hand, it’s been clear for years that she has been struggling to the point it’s actually awkward to watch.
At the same time, fans hoping for a click-quick comeback ought to adjust expectations. Because, whether changes in her conservatorship happen or not, “Britney Spears” the person needs to heel before “hypothetically” slaying anyone’s stage anytime soon.

Which is it we encourage stars to take time put for the sake of their mental health and when they do we start all sorts of conspiracy theories. She has already said she was struggling and needed time off to gather herself smh!!!
And this time, it’s all her crazy supporters with nothing else to do with their life except attend a “Free Britney” protest and throw out all of these conspiracy theories!
She’s unwell and shouldn’t be hounded especially about her fathers health. I’ve said for years it seems like she would be happier away from the spotlight but it seems like too many people’s checks depend on Britney the brand to keep making coin. That being says she does look unwell in that video and most definitely did not write that statement under it!
Britney needs to retire and lead a normal life. Her heart hasn’t been into singing or performing in years. She has millions thanks to her conservatorship. She will be OK.
