Janet Jackson‘s ‘Metamorphosis‘ live show has received electrifying endorsements from the thousands who stepped out to see it in Las Vegas following its birth date.
A colourful celebration of the icon’s career, the show mixes and blends tracks from her discography to create a unique audio and visual experience powered by the performer, her soulful backing vocalists, live band and dance crew who are expected to join her at Glastonbury this summer.

Something is off – I’ve been a Janet fan since Control but she MURDERED the choreography on the SOTW – I saw clips of her doing BurnitUP, Nasty, Feedback, All For You and Pleasure where SHE CUT WIGS OFF AND BURNED THEN LIVE ON STAGE ???? But she seems to be lacking in energy this go round and letting the dancers do the work. She also seems to have gained some weight back. No hate, love Janet, but what happened in 9 months ? ???

Janet was super thin on the SOTW tour, but even then I could see there were some shows where she danced harder than she did in other shows. I don’t see a big change one way or the other from what the Vegas clips show. The choreo actually looks better even though Janet is taking it easy through some of the numbers. What matters most is that she seems to be very engaged with the audience. I’ve seen her at a time when she had no fire at all and wasn’t engaged with the crowd (Number Ones Tour) and that was not fun at all. The Vegas show looks fun.
You’re correct. I don’t know if she hurt herself during rehearsals and is on meds or what but her energy is low and there really is no reason, this is Vegas! I won’t even mention the horrible wardrobe. The SOTW tour was better she should’ve taken some more time off before going on this Vegas/festival trek cause she ain’t got the energy.

Janet Jackson has been in the business for years she can sit in a chair on stage and seeing if she wants to she has put in her time so your criticism about her is non void it means nothing she has mastered her craft give credit where credit is due. Janet’s weight has always gone up and down. And …The dancer are doing the job because they’re dancers. Janet is still doing her thing even at 53. Using dancer is also smart simply because it conserves the performer’s energy and health so she can do the show. She is humans whose doing several shows each week after all as just like other performers. Really, they are also not going to perform well for a few hours at every single show. They’re not robots. For me, Id like to see other people who are complaining do what she doing for the past 30 + years and at her age now.
