Madonna is renown for being a straight shooter, but she claims her aim has never been Lady Gaga.
Indeed, despite branding Mother Monster “reductive” in the past, she’s singing an altogether different tune. One which absolves her of throwing shade grenades.

Speaking in British Vogue about pop culture’s pitting of women against one another, she used Gaga to illustrate. She said:
“People got very excited about [the thought of Lady Gaga and myself as] enemies, when we never were enemies.”
See, this is a touch jarring.
She’s thrown countless jabs, so blaming other people after feeding the beast is just…ugh.
Anyway, we’re glad to see the ladies on better terms these days.
She desperately needs Gaga’s fans .
I doubt that. I think both of them are opportunists. When the manufactured ‘beef’ was put in the press BOTH of them went along with it for the publicity. How u gonna be all hugged up in a pic with a b|tch who called u ‘reductive’? That’s that fake hollyweird sh|t right there cause if a b|tch ever called me or my word ‘reductive’ I’m coming for her and gonna read her for filfth all up in the media (every press opportunity I get I would be throwing her under the bus to make her regret her words.)
You may have a point, but Madonna is the bigger opportunist here. She has an album to sell, and what better way to pander to the masses that ate up Gaga’s “A Star Is Born” era so they can support her upcoming era than to claim that they were “never enemies”. Madonna is a master at media manipulation, nothing she says or does is ever done without careful plotting and planning. Folks need to remember that.
I love both but real talk Madge never shaded Gaga until Gaga went on the Tonight Show and LIED saying Madonna emailed her her approval and support when Born This Way was accused of ripping off Express Yourself then Lady Gaga three more gasoline on the fire when said the song was inspired by Whitney Houston at the Grammys. Madonna NEVER picked a fight first and wasn’t dragging Stephanie unless she was asked her honest opinion in interviews which even then never shaded her as an artist just for ripping off her song. Glad they’re both in a better place
Well if that’s the case, Madonna should have been more mature & kept her ego in check instead of encouraging the mess & showing how insecure she is.
