Paula Abdul is the latest star to strut her way onto the Las Vegas strip.
Because, moments ago, the performer announced a Sin City residency.

Christened ‘Forever Your Girl,’ the concert series kicks off in August at the Flamingo.
Its announcement arrives the same year her smash ‘Straight Up’ turns 30 and the song the show is named after turns 31.
Speaking on what folk can expect, Abdul said:
“I love telling stories through music and dance, and engaging with the audience. I’m taking the essence of the classic choreography that has become part of my legacy and I want to have a real experience with the audience so they leave knowing me a bit more.”
As for whether she’ll be making the Strip her professional home beyond the initial 20 shows, she told Billboard:
“I’m anxious to see how that works out. I’m thrilled at the opportunity and I’m excited to be housed in one place where people can come and see me. I feel like this is the time to do an intimate, fun and exciting show. I’ve always wanted to be in Las Vegas on the Strip performing. And I feel like Las Vegas is kind of a second home to me. I knew it was going to happen one day, and I was thrilled that we able to make it work this time.”
The reveal comes as Abdul gears up to perform at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas tonight. Needless to say, great cross-promotion:
