My problem with Cardi B is her disdain and colorism for darker-skinned women and that she’s so brazen about not actually being into rap. (Light skinned women love to pull the “Shut your dark a$$ up!” card when they’re upset, but “love all shades”. She did this for fun and it got popular. She clearly does not take the craft seriously. I gave Invasion of Privacy a chance and her flow is still nonexistent. The beats and productions make for..good twerking music I suppose.
And being married to a dark-skinned man means NOTHING. Latina women LOVE to disparage Black women while taking their men and commenting on how superior they are and what Black women need to do to keep Black men, smh
