Normani is slaying out the gate with new single ‘Motivation.’
Unleashed last Friday, the track is shaping up to serve as a solo breakthrough for the former Fifth Harmony member – who has already notched two top 10’s on the Billboard Hot 100 with Khalid and Sam Smith respectively.
‘Motivation’s out of the gate success is being driven in earnest by its high-octane visual, which has gone all sorts of viral.
Now, as it picks up ample steam on streaming platforms, it’s also proving a major winner on radio too.
After going for adds today, the song has already become the most added at Pop / Top 40 radio this week with 78 pick-ups.
The feat has seen huge stations such as Z100 and 102.7 KIIS FM add the track to their playlists – ensuring vast reach.
Today’s news comes on the heels of the announcement that the 22-year-old will be taking to the stage at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards on August 26th. She has confirmed that the spot will see her deliver the first live performance of the ‘Motivation’ – which was co-written by Ariana Grande.
