As we reported here, The Weeknd‘s recently released duo of singles – ‘Heartless’ and ‘Blinding Lights’ – were out of the box successes.
Zooming to the top of real-time iTunes sales and Spotify streaming charts, the songs respectively dominated competition on the tallies ahead of the release of their accompanying visuals. The former saw that dominance cemented courtesy of a boost from its Anton Tammi-directed music video and mind-bending live performance last week on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ (click here to read).
Now, thanks to the aforementioned (alongside a warm reception from radio), the Metro Boomin-produced track has become the singer’s fourth Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper. Details inside:
“‘Heartless’ bounds 15-1 on Digital Song Sales with 58,000 sold… “Heartless” flies 32-2 on Streaming Songs with 30 million U.S. streams… The track also charges 45-38 on Radio Songs, with 26.2 million in all-format airplay audience, after beginning with 22.6 million on Nov. 27-Dec. 1.
The Weeknd adds his fourth Hot 100 No. 1. He earned his first two leaders in August and October 2015, respectively: “Can’t Feel My Face,” which reigned for three weeks, and “The Hills,” for six. In January 2017, he led for a week with “Starboy,” featuring Daft Punk.
“Heartless” is also The Weeknd’s ninth Hot 100 top 10 and first since “Call Out My Name,” which debuted and peaked at No. 4 in April 2018.

This is what Camila needed to make her album pop better…a number 1 song. I cant even lie anyone bragging on her inflated tour bundle numbers this week is in for a HUGE disappointment when she flops worse than Celine next week.
This is actually what Camila needed but Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are just huge artist and plus Selena almost everything she does goes too 40 automatically. I mean she does have 16 top 40 hits in a row.

Camila is seriously the 2019 version of Megan Trainor. I mean she even the same flop sketchers ad, and now she’s about to suffer the same sophomore slump Megan did…then Epic will throw her away like they did Megan. At least Megan’s second album had two top 20 hits though….
