Songbird K. Michelle has hatched ‘All Monsters Are Human’ – her fifth studio album.
Released independently via her own imprint No Color No Sound Records (in partnership with eOne), the set serves as K’s first indie offering and her first LP since 2017’s ‘Kimberly: The People I Used To Know.’
Comprised of 13 songs, the project is led by singles ‘Supahood’ and ‘The Rain’ – the latter of which has been faring especially well on the Urban Adult Contemporary format.
In true K form, the album boasts a number of quirkily titled cuts such as ‘Ciara’s Prayer’ and ‘Just Like Jay.’
Does the material itself deliver, though? We feel so. Take a listen below and let us know what you think…
The ghetto
The ghetto
The ghetto
???????
Keep this mess, nobody wants this.
Do you even like R&B music Clarkson?
It’s a nice body of work!
Album is GREAT, LOVEEE all the lovers and can’t let!!!!!
The album is SOLID. She brought some heat. Crazy how her promo game isn’t on 10 for this round. But that’s usually how it goes with artist who kind of stumble upon a rebound. Hopefully word of mouth boost her sales. I usually don’t like when she reference artist in songs… Like the Drake joint, Jay z joint, hell and even the Kim K joint and she not even a artist. But that Ciara joint is cleverly put together! I like it a lot! ?
OMG ? is on repeat right now!
Excellent review
Thanks Mel ?
