New Video: Demi Lovato – ‘I Love Me’

Published: Friday 6th Mar 2020 by Rashad

After a lengthy absence from charts and radio, Pop diva Demi Lovato burst back onto the scene in January with the soul baring ‘Anyone’ – a heart-wrenching tune that saw the 27-year-old address her highly publicized battle with drugs and more (click here to listen).

Peaking at #34 on the Hot 100, the response to the track not only served as indication Lovato was missed but also that fans were hungry for new music.  Now, answer to that call comes in the form of new single ‘I Love Me.’

Teased in earnest via social media (and a stop by ‘Ellen’ recently), anxious fans can finally get their eyes and ears on the full song and its accompanying video.

It awaits inside:

Referencing a number of low points in the singer’s life (i.e. relationship with Joe Jonas, near fatal overdose, and more), ‘I Love Me’ will reportedly act as the first single to Lovato’s forthcoming, yet-titled new album – her first since 2017’s ‘Tell Me You Love Me.’

The song is cute, but are we going to address that she’s painted brown? Is scooter painting her brown just like he does Ariana? ? Demi has never been this “tan”

Song falls flat. She’s not a good songwriter, sorry. The harmonies are good.

Song okay, still crying woe is me though. In the video however she covers the Camp Rock era, her relationship with Joe Jonas, her Cool for the Summer Era, her overdose and Wilmer Valderrama getting engaged to another women.

Demi let’s let this be your last victim complex song.

I’ve been a fan of Demi Lovato since I saw her on Camp Rock as well as Sunny with a chance. And I’ve been following her ever since. Her music is amazing and it’s only gotten better since leaving Disney channel. With songs like sky scraper, give your heart a break, sorry not sorry, promise me no promises, and now I love me being some of my favorite hits. She is a role model to many and deserves all the love in the world. Demi is gorgeous, talented, and real. If anyone tells her otherwise they are wrong. To quote the famous Megan Trainer “ boys like a little more booty to hold at night.” ?♥️

YASSSS this is Demi’s best video by far. the song is so cute the lyrics are powerful and even though it’s not very melodic she got to show her chops in some of the bg vocals and her typical belts at the end of the song. ten out of ten indeed, I love you Demi <3

Girl, this is 2020, we are tired of these cheesy I love me anthems

U and selena gomez have done these type of songs a million times

The song sounds so dated. And she is annoying with her self love, self destruction, self love again. Girl, you made enough money, if you cant deal with the media and the comments then buy yourself a house somewhere and get yourself out of the spotlight.

The song is okay, the video is okay. I’m just glad it’s not a ballad. Enough with the ballads, Demi. Sidenote, I wish she would get a new make up artist. Whoever does her eyebrows is doing her a disservice…in my opinion.

I wonder how Selena Gomez feels about Demi’s sudden friendship with Justin B.?
