Viewers of The Kelly Clarkson Show will note that the Grammy-winning singer/TV personality partakes in a segment called Kellyoke, where she belts out bops from artists new and known.
During the latest instalment, she rocked out to Jackson’s 1993 classic ‘If.’

This was a dope cover and spin to the original. Janet is prob smiling at the tribute I like that Kelly introduces new and old songs to her target audience
Kelly can blow but I wasn’t too fond of her rendition. Not many can pull off a Janet song. Her unique, soft, sensual vocals and approach are hard to duplicate. Say whatever you want about Janet, but she had a distinct voice that worked for the material she sang. Everyone isn’t a belter, and everyone doesn’t want to hear big voices 24/7.
And FYI Janet has sang live LOTS of times throughout her career. She still sings her ballads and mid tempos live.
