Alicia Keys nabbed an unexpected hit out of her latest single, ‘Underdog,’ when the tune became an unofficial anthem of encouragement for frontline workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
As we reported here, the response to the Ed Sheeran-written tune was so positive it hoisted Keys to her highest mark on the Billboard Hot 100 in nearly a decade.
Now, the 15-time GRAMMY winner is looking to follow-up that success with a more intentional approach to raising morale among essential workers.
Joining CNN for their Anderson Cooper-hosted ‘Town Hall’ special Thursday (April 23), Alicia will be on hand to premiere her brand new song designed to honor healthcare professionals, members of the service industry, and more.

As of time reported, no official word on if ‘Job’ will be included on her delayed seventh studio album, ‘ALICIA.’
The live global #CNNTownHall, hosted by Cooper and Dr. Sanja Gupta, airs Thursday at 8p/7p CST.
Will she please stop using a pandemic for her own promotional gain? She already tried with Underdog.
Underdog came way before all this happened tho lol.smh
It started in November, and she has realised, that it’s time to make it look like she is “for humanity”. She is actually a slithery snake, and I’m glad that nobody actually wants her in 2020
Delusions of grandeur much? Licia got enough $ to live well. Why insist on being heard/seen when interest is low?!? Marketing 101: fulfill the buying public’s need. Newsflash: ya ain’t needed.
Lol, she is actually not a nice person. Not only she slept with a married man and numerously copied another one’s music – she is now trying to profit off this flipping pandemic. Hope this kills her career completely.
Let me not see another mention of this stupid name. Her voice sounds like an old screeching door, I don’t like it and I don’t like her. Fake as hell.
Just leave us all alone AK. Your music is dead, nobody likes it
