Last night brought with it BET special ‘Saving Our Selves: A BET COVID-19 Relief Effort.’
Reports have been mounting touting statistics that show how African Americans are disproportionately harmed by the coronavirus pandemic.
Together with the NAACP, United Way Worldwide, and others, BET set out to combat the alarming rates with the fundraiser, with a target of helping provide financial, educational, and community support directly to Black communities – especially those hit hardest by this crisis.
Jointly hosted by TV personality/actor Terrence J, Kelly Rowland, and actress Regina Hall, the special brought with it performances from the likes of H.E.R., Jhene Aiko, Common, Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, and Kirk Franklin (alongside Fantasia, Tyrese, Kelly Price, Jonathan McReynolds, and more).
Watch performance and highlights after the jump…
I love Uncle Charlie’s performance…
Hahahaha…. the c***** v**** is a joke. All this fear mongering over a v**** that has killed less people than the flu.
idiot the flu killed 34k people last year. c***** killed 47k in one month.
Right.. how about u just go out and lick the public toilet??? U ignorant a-s-s. The major difference is people can recover from regular flu, but not in all chinese v**** cases. It will stay inside the Patients body for the rest of their lives. It will haunt u down whenever your body is feeling weak.
Just a friendly reminder that BET is run by white people. Y’all stupid for donating to them lol.
Another live concert were miss normani was not invited to perform.
