Baby Momma ain’t it. Could have kept that to yourself. Ain’t nobody trying to be a baby momma these days.

Hopefully that’s the only song I skip on this album

    • Hated4myopinion May 7, 2020

Speak for yourself hun. I love that song and that song is also helping to promote an organization that helps single mothers. Single mothers who may be struggling to provide during this pandemic. Don’t ever get to big to think that single mother hood is a curse. You may not want that for yourself, but not everyone can make that decision. Girls/women are se.xually as.saulted, their husbands may die, they may also be women who are barren and also do not have the nuclear family that this Eutopian society tells us we should have. As a baby’s mom herself she can speak to the problems this predicament brings about and be a voice for others who don’t have the platform that she has. Rant over!

      • Ugghh May 7, 2020

        As I was saying… Baby Momma ain’t it. 😂😂😂

      • I+love+big+black+c** May 7, 2020

Talking about support single mom and community, I think Underdog from alicia keys is way better. Baby mama sounds like a 5 times rejected track from other her peers.

    • Hated4myopinion May 7, 2020

@Ugghh I hope your future spouse never has to say that about being with you.

    • Cocoa May 7, 2020

      • Chileplease May 7, 2020

Newsflash – you’ll be here trying to “throw shade” wayyy past 30. I’m sure you wake up miserable in the morning.

    • Ashley May 7, 2020

🤣🤣😭😭 Not black 30 yr old gays!! This is funny asf because it’s true.

    • Tyty May 7, 2020

Shouldn’t you be asking that question about your fav camilla? Because unless she is drawing from the fan bases of her features ain’t nobody listening to that trick. When is this site going to permanently ban you? You was going to start your own blog and talent agency yet you back again, spewing hate and jealousy. You’re just mad cause brandy is something you will never be a successful, talented dark skinned black woman something you wish you was. That’s why your whole existence is one big failure.

    • CardiIsQueen May 7, 2020

Sad thing is this comment came from a black gay guy who’s prolly already 30+ lol that’s the weirdest part!! 😂😂😂

      • Section8DaGreat May 7, 2020

        You know it is.

      • citygirl May 7, 2020

        period

    • Pat May 7, 2020

Sounds more like Beyhive. No shade

    • Durand May 7, 2020

What does the age of her fans that have to do with anything? Growing older both her and her fans is inevitable babes , dosent mean she has to stop working . All the younger generations will soon be 30+ one day ( assuming we even make it out of 2020) and you will someday still want to cherish the artists you grew up listening to FOREVER so what does growing older means? What’s wrong with that? You throwing “shade” @ the inevitable sounds really dumb . Very dumb

    • PinotNoir May 7, 2020

      Now THAT’S a QUEEN !! 👑🔥

    • FMcL May 7, 2020

Your faves listen to Brandy and jack her vocal stylings!

  3. Only Facts May 7, 2020

This is cute Brandy! I’m ready!

  4. Chileplease May 7, 2020

Beautiful album cover. I hope the music is decent cuz I ain’t sold on the first single

    • Only Facts May 7, 2020

I think it’ll be like two eleven. Almost all the fans hated put it down and then wildest dreams came out and the album and everyone loved it as a whole. Baby mama is a grower, but I think she’s got more heat on the album. I hear there’s a big, big collab on the album…I’m guessing Fantasia

      • Mike May 7, 2020

        It’s Kelly Rowland

      • Only Facts May 7, 2020

Maybe it’s kelly and Fantasia? If they made a “without me” part 2 I would DIE

      • Azya May 7, 2020

Brandy did not work with Kelly Rowland.

Fantasia attempted to work with Brandy and Jazmine Sullivan, but the song wasn’t good – according to insiders. Jazmine stopped responding to Fantasia, and Brandy told her it wasn’t the right song for them. It doesn’t surprise me because Fantasias last album wasn’t good.

      • Only Facts May 7, 2020

You sound DUMB! Jazmine is still signed to RCA and the label wouldn’t let her release the song with brandy and Fantasia since they both left RCA. Dumba*s.

      • Azya May 7, 2020

How do I sound dumb? The song was never recorded because Jazmine and Brandy didn’t like what Fantasia submitted. Brandy HERSELF said “it wasn’t the right song”. Did you even watch her interview on here? I don’t know who your sources are but they need to be rechecked boo. Much love.

      • Nippian May 7, 2020

You can say that again about Fantasia’s last album not being good. She went independent and picked all those horrible songs herself. Fantasia definitely needs an A&R and someone picking music for her. She needs to get with Johnta Austin, Jermaine Dupri, Missy Elliott or someone who comes with ready-made bops. She has the voice that can make an already good song GREAT.

LMAO why they say Jazmin stopped responding LOL. They should have let Jazmine write the damn song she never disappoints. Brandy and Kelly Rowland have not been on speaking terms for YEARS. She isn’t the secret collab. In fact Brandy claims the only people on the album are Chance the Rapper and her daughter Sy’rai. I like my Brandy albums with very few if any features.

I agree Baby Mama was not a single let alone a lead single. But I get it she wanted to give her daughter some shine. Brandy needs to get back with Rodney Jerkins and ONLY work with Rodney Jerkins. Some artists can pick their own songs and work with any producer and create heat (Rih, Bey, J Cole, Drake) and some artists need a visionary to keep them on task (Brandy, Fantasia, Janet).

      • Azya May 7, 2020

Fantasia is an amazing singer and performer but she doesn’t have a good ear for music. She needs a better team behind her. I was so disappointed in that album because she hyped it up so bad. I expected her to delve deeper into the “rock soul” sound she had been promoting since 2013. I’m hopeful that her next project will be better.

Brandy and Rodneys magic was undeniable but I’m glad she’s working with other producers. One thing about Brandy , she takes her music and creative process seriously. Based on some of the snippets she posted over the years , this album will be another great one.

  5. Late May 7, 2020

Great album cover! Brandy always has really interesting album covers, and this one continues the trend.
That being said, I’m a bit worried about this album for many different reasons. Other than the Daniel Caesar and Chance The Rapper features (both of which we have already heard), there aren’t any other features guests on the album, which is kind of a noble idea, but won’t cut it in 2020, especially since it’s been many years since her last album. I’m hoping before the album arrives, she hooks up with someone hot at the moment (I.e Lizzo or someone else that has had a major hit within the last year) because at the end of the day, you need a high profile name to hook listeners in. She’s an older artist from a different era, and she would need a head start by getting a really good, unexpected collab.
I’m also concerned about the single choice. I don’t think Baby Mama was the right way to reintroduce herself to the public. Cute song, but not “first single in 7 or 8 years” worthy.

    • Only Facts May 7, 2020

We haven’t seen a track list. Fantasia is rumored to be featured. Be patient. And she’s independent now so applaud the woman. She’ll deliver. Everyone doubted her before two eleven too, and that album remains one of her best in my opinion

      • Azya May 7, 2020

Brandy revealed that Chance, Daniel and her daughter are the only features. This album is very vulnerable and personal for her. A dozen features aren’t needed.

    • Section8DaGreat May 7, 2020

The difference between Brandy and these other artists is Brandy has a solidified fan base that will buy her albums regardless because we know it will be great quality content. Even the talent within the music business supports anything she does so a feature artist is not needed and she does not need to worry about the charts and sales anymore. WE WANT QUALITY!

      • PinotNoir May 8, 2020

I only hope B-Rocka’s solid fan base that BUYS is in the 100k’s for her to make some profit, which would encourage her to release more often.

  6. Interac May 7, 2020

It’s 🔥!!!!! A cover like this and a song like “baby mama” just doesn’t add up though.

    • Interac May 7, 2020

I just have the feeling that when we hear the album in its entirety, “baby mama” won’t be worthy of being on the album. I bet she might just scrap it by the time the album comes out.

      • Azya May 7, 2020

No she won’t. This is Brandy’s art and she’s standing on it. She no longer has a label forcing her into a box.

  7. MsMay May 7, 2020

I love Brandy and I love Monica. I want both of my 90s chicks to win in these streets.

That said, Brandy- we need a better single. The cover is nice, love the title. Baby Mama ain’t it~ give us classic Brandy.

    • Azya May 7, 2020

What is “Classic Brandy” exactly? All of her albums are different. If anything, BM could be considered classic Brandy because of her vocals and harmonies. I’m glad Brandy isn’t stuck in the 90’s and 2000’s. She isn’t afraid to experiment musically. She released something fun and upbeat. I’m tired of the moody R&B sound.

      • Maelish May 7, 2020

Baby mama is classic? No, it doesn’t resonate at all no matter how great the harmonies and vocal is. The content of the song is not something brandy should be singing about in 2020.

      • Chileplease May 7, 2020

        I expected something with…depth.

      • Azya May 7, 2020

It has the classic Brandy sound, yes. What’s wrong with the songs content? It celebrates moms everywhere. Single, married, divorced, widowed, foster. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s colorful, fun, upbeat and different from the trap and moody R&B sound that’s popular. Did you even listen to the lyrics?

      • Pat May 7, 2020

The sound is there but it’s too choppy and hidden. It’s a NO for this single

  8. Azya May 7, 2020

Beautiful cover Bran! The GMA performance was super cute as well. I’m loving the space she’s in!! 🔥 Independent Brandy is glowing! No more big labels telling her what to do. This is her art, love it or hate it. I can’t wait for the album!!!

  9. I+love+big+black+c** May 7, 2020

Nice cover art but no ma’am brandy is dated and her music is boring af vocal is meh… Do mo tv shows gurl

  10. James May 7, 2020

Beautiful Album cover! 🔥Love it! Can’t wait to hear her new music. Baby Mama is a grower! 👍🏽👍🏽

  11. G-bby May 7, 2020

Oh I love this! It’s giving me regal, Stevie Wonder, Cleopatra realness. She looks stunning.

  12. JustLeezy May 7, 2020

This cover is so beautiful she’s giving Egyptian Goddess. Come on B7!

  13. Justmeeeee May 7, 2020

Love brandy BUT im really hoping that she uses this song as a buzz single only

    It is NOT album worthy
Especially not for the vocal Bible

    C’mon Brandy

  14. XYZ May 7, 2020

The cover looks cheap, the title is lazy and Baby Mama is meh. Brandy is really disappointing me this time. I loved human and that last album (though that Chris brown Song was horrible), but no, it seems off. She waited nearly a decaded to release something uncooked like this.

  15. Martaevia La’Wayne May 7, 2020

Love it! Can’t wait to hear what else Bran has for us. What I don’t understand is if people don’t care for it… why come leave a negative comment?? Just keep scrolling. Sometimes I forget misery loves company. We’re all quarantined and some people have nothing better to do. I’ll say a prayer for you all. LOL 🙏🏾

  16. PinotNoir May 7, 2020

    THAT’S a QUEEN !! 👑🔥

  17. High Price May 7, 2020

Due to the timing of all things going on in this world, I see a lot of artist are making due and persevering. With that being said, I’m feeling her era so far! We’re literally being updated on her journey through this era daily! Like the interviews so far are endless.

I’m IN LOVE with this cover! I KNOW we are in for a treat! Initially I wasn’t sold on #BabyMama but I’m such a huge fan of hers, I couldn’t resist. Plus the video pulled me in. 😅 You got my coin B! That’s for sure!!
    💯
