‘Make It Happen’ hitmaker Mariah Carey is making headlines again for her ongoing contributions to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
Boasting performing at the iHeart Living Room benefit concert, honoring COVID-19 relief workers with a stirring rendition of her hit ‘Hero,’ and more among her list of contributions to the ongoing effort (click here to watch), now the Pop icon will be joining fellow celebrity New Yorkers for the star-studded ‘Rise Up New York!’ benefit telethon.
Details inside:
Hosted by comedienne/actress Tina Fey, the May 11th telethon is being brought to viewers by the partnership of the Robin Hood charity organization in conjunction with iHeartMedia.
“Joining Fey will be a mix of public figures, most of whom have lifelong ties to New York. Alongside New York City mayor Bill De Blasio and the state’s governor Andrew Cuomo, familiar faces like Jennifer Lopez, Jimmy Fallon, Robert De Niro, Bette Midler, Barbra Streisand, Spike Lee, and more will make appearances and encourage viewers to donate to the cause.
